I went to Watercrest Sarasota. The only thing that I did not like about it is they do not accept third-party payment. So my mother has a lifelong term health policy, and they would not accept it. My mom would have to get paid and then she would have to pay the facility compared to the other places which would accept the payment. The staff was great, knowledgeable, there was only one question she couldn't answer, and that was, are toasters allowed in the room? She would have to look that up and call me. It was very nice and very clean.

My husband moved into Watercrest Sarasota. He started in memory care, but now he's in assisted living. It was clean. It was brand new, and the people seemed very nice. They didn't have many people in memory care, which was good; but it wasn't good because they didn't have enough staff to help in memory care. There's quite a few in assisted living. They have a brand new director there, and he seems very, very nice. They hired a lot of new people. There's a new nurse there, and she's very good. He said that won't happen again where they're understaffed. He's been in assisted living for two months now. He said there aren't enough activities that interest him as a man. I think there's a lot of activities that women like. The food is very good. There's no complaining about the food. This place is very nice for the money.
