If you have a family member that is not in need of attention like medications, or shower care , or reminders to go to dinner then the Sheridan is not the place. If they are completely independent and like social events then it’s great . My mother needed assistance , almost independent but needed some assistance, and we struggled for 18 mths trying to get even basic care , medication were not given, showers not given, it was a fight for any kind of care . Their fees are very high for the area . They raised our fees three time in less than 2 yrs . Turn over is very high and no RN overseeing facility care or medications , like many other facilities. We learned the hard way . Not for the elderly , more for active younger people .

Not only is the facility extremely nice, but I also can't say enough good things about the management and staff at the Sheridan. My parents lived there together until my mom passed last June. The staff was fabulous with my mom and has taken great care of my dad through the Covid crisis and beyond.

The Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch is a really good assisted living facility, and they're very focused on their residents. The food is excellent, and they have a variety of things to do for activities. They have a library, and they have a salon. The nursing care support there is amazing, and that's one of the key reasons we chose The Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch, because we have peace of mind that my mom would be cared for even if I'm not there. They also have transportation.

My Dad and Mom both lived at the Sheridan for two years. The staff loved on my parents and showed so much care. The food was amazing and Brenda who is in charge of the kitchen always makes sure the residents get the food they like at the right temperature !
So many good activities and music get togethers. I felt 100 percent happy with the care. My mom passed away from stage four breast cancer and Kelly is the manager personally brought little sweet gifts and visited my mom as she went though Hospice. This is such a caring and wonderful home and I highly recommend it! Every staff member shows care and they try very hard to please and give good care.

The Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch was nice, new, clean, and friendly, but a little expensive. The staff was nice and friendly. The parking was fine and easy. The only negative is the pricing.

Never judge a book by its cover.... care? What care?? Or should I say lack of cars... the turnaround in staff is crazy... faculty has hired outside staff from agency... went months with a executive director, head of nursing or memory care director... no sooner they hire someone they are fired.... check their rating with the state.... stay away I wouldn't put my dog here.

Severely understaffed. High turnover. Firings. Yes the building is brand new, apartments are gorgeous and they serve a decent meal. If you want bells and whistles, then for go for it. It's a snow job. If you want your family member to be adequately cared for (ie it took them over 40 minutes to answer my mom's call in middle of night - MORE THAN ONCE) then this is not the place. We pay over $6k a month for her to live here and have multiple issues w/ staff. There are much better, more well run facilities in the area.

My mother has moved into the Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch. They have given her excellent care. Her room is very nice and very clean, the place is excellent, and we are very happy with it. It is a perfect location for us because it is only 10-minutes from my home. The food is fine. I am very pleased with every aspect of it.

My sister chose The Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch. It has a nice friendly atmosphere, but my father passed away and I have to move my mother into another facility. The staff was very friendly, and we’re very pleased with the food and services. I have nothing but nice things to say about them.

The Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch was brand new, so it was very nice. I have nothing negative to say. The location was perfect since it's five minutes from my house. The rooms were much nicer and much larger for the price. You can decorate them as you like and bring in your own furniture. They had a full schedule of activities every day. It’s an excellent choice. We put a deposit down because we’re very happy with all aspects of the facility.

We put my mother in law at The Sheridan for respite care as we were on a vacation for 10 days. She said the food was absolutely delicious; they have a professional chef, and she loved it. The rooms look like a beautiful studio apartment. It’s brand new, and they were excellent. CNAs working were really great. It’s $200 a day.
