My 97 year old mother did not get care and attention from this facility. She fell off the bed the first night there. They did not give her oxygen she was required to have. I am warning everyone to stay away from this institution please.

I wouldn't send a dog to this facility. If you send a loved one there it is like a death sentence. My mom was there one night and fell out of her bed the oxygen wasn't even turned on STAY AWAY

This facility is ONLY good for intense short-term physical and occupational therapy. They are terrific. Otherwise I would strongly recommend not placing yourself or a loved one in this facility. We experienced many, many medication errors, after which never left our loved one unattended for a moment.. There are only a few RNs on both shifts that are caring. They could not find side rails, (a fall risk) a bedside commode or a bedpan for our loved one until we marched into admin who acted all surprised. (?) I only give two stars to not take away from what the PT department does and I do not understand how the few good RNs work under such conditions. The long-term side has patients three to a room reminiscent of a boxcar train.

I was very impressed with the professional and caring staff of nurses and physicians at this facility. My friend was not able to walk due to injury from a fall; and she is walking again!! I visited several times a week. Excellent physical therapy team. I would recommend this facility for friends and family as I have watched them first hand attend to their patients and long term residents in a very caring and professional manner. And the food menu/selections daily was also very good. God Bless the staff at this facility for the great jobs they do everyday.

Excellent team of nurses and quality care of patients at this facility

My grandmother is very difficult. She has been in 10 different facilities in the past two years. This was the only place she was ever happy and it was due to the compassionate care that the staff provided.

When I looked up reviews for this nursing home/ rehab as a potential destination for my loved one I was not impressed. However, after 3 weeks to present my 92 year old aunt with dementia has been at Gulfcrest for rehab after surgery. I must emphasized that the compassion and love for the elderly is displayed by all of the staff. From the head of nursing to the aides who clean the rooms. These people deserve regonition. I am so grateful for each of them. I appreciate their dedication to this very difficult job. My aunt has never sat in a soiled diaper. I go there at all times and I have always been pleased with the level of care.

Very old building with visible termite damage on exterior. 67 patients must take turns sharing ONE single shower for everyone. Visible black mold in that room when I was there in June 2015. Patients must all use the same wheeled chair into the shower stall. Had to demand that they sanitize the chair before using. Had to wait 4 days for leaky faucet and mold removal from toilet area in my room. There was a bucket full of rancid water in the sink cabinet filled to the top. Based on my experience I would suggest looking elsewhere.
