The menu selections and food are
Fantastic. The OT and PT staff are wonderful. Room in health center is brand new.
However, having a difficult time with the aides who dispense
Meds. Pay attention to your own medicine !! And do not accept rude and disrespectful behavior from staff.

If you have a family member at this facility, you need to plan to be there daily to make sure they are taken care of properly. The care staff does not respond in a timely fashion to the patient. Medications are not given at the correct time, if at all. Basic human needs of eating and going to the restroom are not handled timely. The patient is abruptly woken up in the middle of the night and not given any explanation for a procedure, medication or the reason they are in the room. We were told this place was the Ritz Carlton of nursing homes. Not so.

We had a very unfavorable experience with my father’s post-hospital stay. The facility was stale and old. Rooms were small. There was poor communication among care team members and family. The on-site staff didn’t consult with assigned physicians as much as they should have, therapies contradicted hospital physician recommendations, and nurses didn’t notify family when there was a significant decline in health status. My advice to future resident families is to trust your instincts first. You are your loved one’s best advocate.
