I've toured Oakmonte Village - Cordova. I liked that it had its own medical center, it has a fitness center, and it was beautifully maintained and clean. The director was very knowledgeable and helpful, and the residents seem like they enjoyed living there. The rooms were nice sizes and the finishes were just nice. The residents were playing bingo and they had amenities.

My Mother Lived there for 7 months. I went to visit her daily. My reason for placing her in Cordova was so she could have socialization with other residents. That was not the case. They have activities but they do not encourage friendships or socialization with each other. It is more like sheep following the activity person. Most of the Med Tech are very nice however there are always a few who rush through assistants with the residents. I found that there was a shortage of Med Tech in the afternoon to evening hours (1 person for the whole floor). Beware of the extra help you will get charged for the slighted bit of help needed. I found it hard to contact the nurse or director except through email and even that was a battle. My Mom is a sweet and very compliant person but she was not happy and her emotional/mental state started to decline. She has since moved. I noticed her spirits have lifted. Moral is don't judge a book by its cover.

My mom moved into Oakmonte Village - Cordova two weeks ago. We were able to visit her; they allowed visitations. It has been excellent, and they're very helpful and very informative. Yesterday was her first day out of quarantine, so they brought her down and guided her because she doesn't know her way. They matched her with a nice lady to sit with yesterday at lunch and dinner. I also know she got her first COVID shot while she was there, so it has been wonderful, and she is very happy there. My mom is in assisted living. She gets disoriented as to where she is and things like that, so they will help her get down and get back, and if she gets lost, she just pushes her button and they will go find her. I have nothing negative to say about it. For all the appointments and the walk-through we had, everything was spot on, so it was great. The staff was excellent. I have not tasted her food, but for the first two weeks, everything was brought to her room. She said she gets plenty of food every time and that she can't eat all the food that is served. They offer a lot of activities, but I haven't actually looked at the calendar, and she hasn't been able to be part of that yet. However, for as happy and as comfortable as she is, we are getting 100% of our value for our money.

Oakmonte Village was a great place for my grandparents. They had a beautiful one bedroom deluxe apartment that was spacious enough to accommodate them both. The staff was super friendly and you could tell they really cared about the residents like their own families. They had a lot of activities but the best was their daily happy hour. The community encouraged families to join their loved ones and have a glass of wine and enjoy the music together. I've never seen an assisted living who offered this. Every time I visited them I felt like I was at the Ritz Carlton.

I went to Oakmonte Village, the tour was great, and the lady was fantastic, and she went all out. They had studios, it was too small, and it was out of the way, but they had cottages as well. The cost was a big factor with me. They had an indoor pool, which was good for my father, but it's not an easy access. The facility was too big.

The assisted living at Oakmonte Village was top-notch. The core was very modern and the staff was extremely engaging with their residents and patients. It's really clean, beautiful, high-end, and seems social. The care facility is also really amazing. This one stood out because unlike other communities which seemed clinical and depressing, Oakmonte Village has a sense of community. The facilities and activities were great, you wouldn't know it's an assisted living place.

Oakmonte Village seemed to be a very luxurious kind of place. The reason why I went there is because it's very clean, bright, and new, but they still need to be organized. Their memory unit is just a few months old, and they really need to get up to speed there. They have the basic activities, like bingo and visiting entertainment.

Oakmonte is very nice, and very beautiful. It’s relatively new, and in top shape. The clientele is varied, and very pleasant. I got a chance to talk to them, and they’re all very happy. The atmosphere is just great. They have afternoon social gatherings. We saw two rooms. The sizes are excellent, and very well furnished. They even have a stove, and ice box. The staff is very pleasant, and easy to talk with. We liked the food they served. They provide transportation, so you don’t need to have a car.

The assisted living and the memory care unit of the Oakmonte Village just opened this year. It was very modern. They had good meals and good entertainment. They bring different people in for sing-alongs.

My parents were at Oakmonte Village, and it was far superior, but my father's level of care exceeded what they could provide, so they were forced to move. It was brand new, very active, the food was good, and they had a lot of activities and good transportation that takes people places. They had a bus, but they also just had a car like if you just needed to go to the store, somebody could take you. There was entertainment for everybody. Somebody came in from four to five every night, plays the piano and sings, so they have a happy hour every night with beer, wine, soda, and then they could get away from there into the dining room. They also have a movie theater so they can go every night to the movies, popcorn, theater seating; it's very nice. They would still be there except that he exceeded the level of care that they could provide. I wouldn't say the rooms were overly spacious, but they were nice.

The apartments at Oakmonte Village are adequate; they're not huge. The common areas are new-looking and very fancy, like they have chandeliers and are more expensive. The staff was very friendly. The food was good. The residents were all very busy. There was a lot of activity.

Oakmonte Village was new, immaculate, and looked fairly flush. The setting was also really nice. There was a lake there. The staff was very good. They had activities. I noticed a piano bar and cocktail hour time. I visited a studio type and it was nice. It was very clean and functional. I also visited one-bedroom, and it was fine. The dining room looked like a cruise ship. It was very flush and luxurious.
