My husband was treated here and the physical therapy team was excellent. There was a nurse and 2 CNA's who were extraordinary. Also the front desk staff (with one exception) was professional and helpful. But other than that I have nothing positive to say about this facility. My husband is an oxygen patient and the first day he was there his oxygen was disconnected for almost 30 minutes. His dietary needs were not met even after meeting with the dietician. The place is seriously understaffed, he often buzzed for a nurse and waited anywhere from 15 minutes to over an hour before anyone responded. He ended up having to be transferred to the hospital due to medical conditions that were overlooked and that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I'm glad he's out of there and if I had to do it again I never would have dealt with this facility in the first place. I would not recommend sending your loved ones there.

My husband has been a resident for a couple of years and especially through the pandemic. Teamwork is a definite characteristic that I would use to describe our time there. It takes the whole team for success. Within the team, we have had some favorites who helped ease the stress of just going through changes and challenges without them I don't know what I would have done. I am preparing for the day when my husband returns home this year and have learned how to take good care of him from the team which includes the other residents. My husband has a new best friend their and that means a lot to me because during the pandemic I have not been able to visit much except through the glass windows or by zoom. I am able to bring special things to him from his home team me and his cat Champion. Thank you for making time their comfortable especially now with the new management.

Washington Nursing was very poor. The nurses were mean to the people because one of them hit my mom, and that’s one of the reasons we got out of there. I had to get a lawyer to get on that. Every time I come, she just sits in the nursing station; they never have her doing anything. The facility and the surroundings were poor. They need to improve the workers that know how to handle the clients and relatives. You can smell the urine, and it wasn’t well-kept.

I visited this facility years ago and I was very displeased with it. It was poorly lit and it wreaked of urine, feces, and old people. I was very disappointed with the way the facility was being run. The staff was very unfriendly. I felt like they were there because it was a paying job.I recently visited this facility and was very pleased from the moment I walked in. The lighting was excellent and I was greeted in the most friendly manner by a staff member who was very professional and helpful. He was very knowledgeable about the facility and went out of his way to assist me to a client's room. There was still a slight odor in the facility, but nothing like it was before. Personally, I wouldn't want to place a family member here. A few changes would have to be made first. But I think that this facility has improved over the years.

This is strictly a Medicaid facility, in a poverty-stricken area, that has few resources. The parking is awful; visitors must park in the community, and it's not a safe area. Inside, it looks like a hospital"”typically two residents to a room, with only a curtain for privacy. The rooms, however, are a nice size"”pretty big. But the whole place doesn't seem that clean"”and sometimes there are strong unpleasant odors. The food is typical nursing home fare"”nothing much interesting is offered. Worst of all, the facility has a bad reputation for care. Clients I've had there complained that the care is not that attentive and that follow-up is also lacking. The facility does appear to offer some recreational activities"”and residents participate in them some. There are some young and middle-aged residents here, as well as seniors"”giving the place an urban vibe.
