I would give minus 1000 if I could. Absolutely horrible place!!! Rude staff. Filthy rooms with medical equipment stuff all over the floor that the patient could trip on. Food/garbage on the floor. A complete mess!!! No one answers when you call to check on your relative. I can only imagine that the proper level of care is not being given from what I have seen in just one visit. Please do not put your loved ones in this dump. We were not given a choice, if you have a choice run from this place fast.

The rooms are nice in one area of the facility. But, if you get on the bad side of the DON, they retaliate and move you to a new wing after 2 years. Then, you have to share a bathroom with up to 3 other people. Those bathrooms are so tiny, you cannot get your walker in them, and if you use a wheelchair, you have to leave it outside of your door and cannot close it so there is no privacy. While a couple of staff members are caring and kind, the majority are not. They are rude, tell you that you are lying, even though you have your wits about you. They are lazy, on their phones instead of answering call bells, and get annoyed if you are too needy. Some of the staff does not even know how to use the medication computer so they ask you what you take! I'm sorry for those who cannot speak for themselves or know what they take. And, you constantly run out of your medications. The activities are very simple. They have Bingo, Trivia, Community Crossword, etc. The food is almost inedible and definitely not healthy for anyone. That's when you get it. It's also always cold and they run out of food a lot.

The lighting is extremely poor in the rooms and there are no extra reading lamps near the beds. Every time I have visited during lunch and dinner, the food has been cool to cold and one day the center had run out of milk, and dessert. There is quite a disparity in the response by the employees. Some are wonderful, articulate and helpful, and some downright mean to the patients.

Am not at all satisfied with this facility and we are transferring my mother out of there asap. My mom has been yelled at by a nurse, has had thrush for three days without medication, had no commode chair for her toilet (she has a full-leg cast), was in pain waiting for her pain meds for more than an hour, and has been served ice-cold food. Less severe complaints are: rooms are not private, so each roommate has a TV blaring to compete with each other to be heard; there are no room fridges; no lamps, just a florescent fixture on the wall with a short pull cord she couldn't reach; extension cords are not allowed for personal devices; and it smelled.

We (family) are grateful to this nursing home. They have been very attentive to our request for my sisters care by providing information on her well being, assist with requesting special medical apparatus for her rehabilitation and other medical needs.
