We had used Interim care for years and were always happy with the service. In the past few years the In-home staff has remained excellent however the Administration has sunk to the lowest of the low for competency, submitting claims properly and providing clients with the proper supplies. My husband has lymphatic drainage tubes in each leg that needed to be flushed with sterile saline 3 times a day. I had to fight tooth and nail to get sterile saline syringes to perform this task. They provided me with 20 syringes and would NOT request more ,instead they gave me bottles of non sterile saline and told me to just reuse the syringes that I had. Disgusting treatment and policy. I would NOT recommend this Company to anyone. Employees barely had the BASIC supplies they needed. Gone are the days of patient safety first. Now they only worry about bottom line profits.

We hired Interim HealthCare of Hartford CT for my husband. They came in twice a week for physical therapy. Around three or four different people came. It was pretty good.

The nurse that arrived to assess my dad was possibly the rudest person we ever me. She insisted we help carry her stuff in. Demanded the patient be weighed before she arrived. Insisted that she could not work with the TV on despite the patient wanting to watch the news. She refused to meet the patient and deemed him hospice and left. His doctor's disagree, but even if he is, being polite and kind is a nice thing. I would avoid this agency at all cost.
