I was on rehabilitation at Geer Nursing and Rehab. I had a good experience and was given good care. The staff was very accommodating, and they also administered pain medication. It's close to its sister community, which is a long-term community.

My cousin stayed at Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation for three weeks. She loved the staff. She thought they were wonderful. They took very good care of her, and they were very kind to her. They were very gentle people. I saw her every day, and I witnessed the same thing; they were really great. She had a private room and was very happy with that. It was very clean and very well-maintained, so we had no complaints.

The skilled nursing home is somewhat hospital-like but is ideal for someone who needs more care than a more "home-like" nursing home/skilled nursing home. It is easier to take care of residents when there are hand sanitizers next to every room, easy-access to a sink, and floors which can be easily-cleaned. Yes, I am also a caregiver so I do notice these things.
