My mother lived at Lakeview Commons for nearly a year. This is a first rate facility where each of the employees that I met seemed to honestly care for each resident. The facility is very clean, the food is good and tailored to the clientele . There are continuous activities for the residents that kept them social My family could not have been happier with our selection.than we were. I highly recommend this facility.

Mom spent some time in Lakeview Commons. It is a Columbine facility and it was excellent. Lakeview Commons is a clean, relatively new facility and it's very, very good. Food is excellent. The staffing is really good. Their staff was pretty prompt. They would probably be the top of any place that we'd have her at this point. Columbine is really a good organization.

The staff at Lakeview Commons seemed fine. The manager of the facility took me on a tour. He was very personable. It seemed like they had a lot of activities. They had a library and a place where they play games. They have a van that takes people to Wal-Mart every couple of weeks. They go to other places and provide transportation to doctor's appointments. I like their location. They had their own salon and a shopping center, not real close, but not too far either. They have places to do their own gardening. They aren't as expensive as some of the higher offering senior living facilities. I wouldn't say it was elaborate, but very comfortable and nice. The structure is made up of 4 or 5 different buildings or complexes that are connected, but they have different purposes.

My grandmother is a resident here, and I visit her weekly. Lakeview Commons is a great place for her to live; it's like she has her own apartment, but there's always someone to help her. She has her own bathroom and a small dining room. She's able to have her meals in the common room or in her own room. Lots of times we join her for lunch, and the staff is really great about working with us on that. They keep a close eye on the best diet for my grandma, and we're still able to have a good meal there. In her room, she also has a call button, that goes right to the staff in case she should need anything. There's call buttons all over the house, which provides great peace of mind. She has her own phone so she can call us whenever she wants to, and she also receives mail to her room, which is something she really loves. Another great thing is she was allowed to bring her dog with her, and there's nice grounds that she can walk the dog on. There is supervision, and also a staff member that will even walk her dog for her if she isn't feeling up to it. For her to be able to have her dog there was one of her favorite things about Lakeview. There's even a beauty shop where my grandma can go get her hair done when she wants. There are so many activities, and even physical therapy, and in home care available at Lakeview. My grandma does pilates here! Which is awesome. All in all, I would give Lakeview, it's staff, amenities, facilities, etc., 5 stars. I'm glad that we could find a place like this for grandma to live comfortably.
