We toured Holiday Longmont Regent. They were nice people who gave us the tour. The price was very attractive compared to what we're paying now. The facility is a little bit older. It's not dirty, but it's a little bit worn. That was just sort of our take on it. The elderly people there seemed to require more help. There were a lot in wheelchairs, so that was a little different than where my mother is now. The general appearance of the rooms was okay. They looked a lot like a hotel room layout. They said they had some exercise equipment. The staff were very friendly and very nice. We liked the staff.

I liked Holiday Longmont Regent a lot, but it was too far from my family. Joe gave me a tour of the facility and he was excellent. He was a wonderful marketer. They tried as hard as they could to satisfy any problems I had moving in. The apartments were a bit small, and the laundry facility was far from the apartment I was looking at. The maintenance and upkeep were very good. The dining area looked very clean and very organized. I saw a book club going on and it looked very organized.

I went to tour Holiday Longmont Regent. The people, the staff, were all very friendly and very helpful. They were pretty thorough in explaining the community and showing me around. It seems like a great community and I liked everything about it. Some of the rooms are a little bit old, but other than that, especially for the price point, it was really good. They showed me two of the rooms, they showed me there all of their common areas and their dining room. They weren't able to show me their activities but they talked about them. Kelly was the one who gave me a tour, and she was wonderful. She was very friendly and compassionate and thorough. The overall facility was very clean, just a little dated.

I did a tour of Holiday Longmont Regent. I was looking for assisted living and nobody told me this was independent living. I didn't understand when I went there what it was like. It was different. The tour was fair. When I went there, it was very smelly of urine, and the person that led me around just handed me a scrap piece of paper with the prices on it. There was nothing printed out, so I didn't trust that. So, it just wasn't a really good tour. The staff who gave me the tour was very nice. The rooms were good, it wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. So, it was just the middle. The dining area was very nice. They were having a happy hour when I went in there, so it was kind of chaotic at first, but I understand that when everybody's getting together. But it just does not seem too welcoming, I mean, I had to find the front desk, and I didn't feel like it was a homey place.

We spent a lot of time at Holiday Longmont Regent. The salesperson, Kelly, was awesome. We were ready to check out at the hotel and come stay with her, but the guest suite was not available, so we couldn't do that. I liked, number one, was the staff and how they interacted with the residents, they were caring, and concerned. We got to observe people in the dining room enjoying their meals. We spoke to some of them and they were all just thrilled to be there and thrilled to meet us. The second best was a common area that was outdoors. There's a large covered patio with seating and it's surrounded by pine trees, and it's also the area where you can take your dogs. We met some people that were doing their little dog walk but getting some fresh air. We landed out there because Kelly wanted to show us the gardening spot. They just have one raised gardening bed at this point that's handicapped accessible. And it would just be up to the residents if they wanted to get their hands dirty and watch things grow, to avail themselves of that gardening area. It's just lovely, just beautiful. We didn't consume a meal, but we got to see the people eating it. We could smell it. It smelled wonderful. We saw the menus, and from that we were impressed. It's older. There were some obvious needs for repair and those may have just happened. The morning before we came, people were moving in.

My mother is going to be moving to Longmont Regent. I've been on-site and the place was clean and inviting. They interact with its senior members and the food smells delightful. The community gathering was very inviting. They have very beautiful views and in the dining room, they're able to see the continental divide with snow-capped mountains, which is very pretty. The place is just open and inviting. The staff seemed friendly enough. I just didn't get a chance to have much interaction with them to know for sure, but overall, they seemed friendly enough. I got a chance to smell the food and to be able to witness the residents being served. They were served professionally and with care and love like they were members of the family.

We went to tour Longmont Regent. It was a nice place. The only thing that they had that was available to look at was an apartment that we couldn't figure out how our furniture would fit in it. It was a strange arrangement, but otherwise, it was nice. The staff was wonderful. Their food was very nice. We had lunch with them. The residents seemed to all be having a lot of fun there. However, I'm not sure that the redesigning and remodeling that they did was all that helpful. We had been there before probably 20 or 30 years ago, so we were surprised to see the great change in the design of the apartments. We had an aunt that was living there, and so we went and visited her. Maybe they should show them other apartments than that one because that is a tough one. All the staff are super. The upkeep was nice.

Longmont Regent was clean and well-kept. The gentleman was very informative, and I just like the whole atmosphere of it. It just felt like home, someplace that my father would enjoy living. The staff was very professional and very nice. The rooms are a decent size. Almost all of them have a terrace. If anyone wanted to walk anywhere, that's within walking distance. If you're still driving, they offer a parking spot. They just seem to have a lot of things going on and a lot of activities for everybody. You can participate or you don't have to participate. There's an outside gathering area. There's no courtyard, but you can sit outside if you like. They have a TV area inside and a restaurant. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The apartments have a kitchenette. You really can't cook in them because you have a restaurant, and you don't need to cook. They provide the meals.

Longmont Regent won't work out for my mom because it's not really assisted living. We're looking for more service. The facility was very nice and adequate. It was affordable for independent living. The staff was very nice and very helpful in answering our questions. The individual rooms are very nice, but the general areas probably need to be updated.

The first time I visited Longmont Regent every single resident and staff member said hello to me. It was very welcoming. They are very attentive and even though it's just independent living, they're supporting us. It feels like a level of interest that goes beyond independent living. They're very caring and very invested in in us. I've only been here since last Thursday, but all of this is very obvious to me. I don't need to be here a year or two years to be able to say these things. It's just very, very apparent that they're different here. They offer three meals, but you have a small kitchen with the refrigerator. You provide your own microwave. There is a level of cooking that you can do in your room. Then they have an activity room that has a full-sized oven, stove, refrigerator, and a microwave. You can go down there to to cook as well. They print out on the morning menu so you know what the schedule is for the day. They rotate some various games like throwing games and volleyball with a balloon. There are activities that even though you're not getting up and running around, it still feels like a workout. There's even a 100-year-old man who plays and is just as involved as everybody else. I think the activities are appropriate for the the main age group that is here. The place has fresh paint, new carpet, and is clean. Anything that I needed, they would fix it. I'd been very happy with with my room and the common areas there. They're doing some remodeling to kind of spruce it up.

Longmont Regent was a nice community, but it's too small, as far as the living space for my friend goes. Everything else was fine. They have card games, crafts, puzzles, and a library. The staff was very nice and very helpful. It's very well maintained, and they followed the COVID guidelines very strictly.

We got my sister moved into Longmont Regent; she has been there for four days now. It's a clean place, and it seems like they have a lot of activities for her. I didn't see any negative things, it's a really nice place. Everybody is very nice and very helpful, and they're topnotch, too. My sister has a studio unit. They have 1-bedrooms, 2-bedrooms and studios, too. Their activities are being closed down due to Covid, but they're opening them back up tomorrow. They have a courtyard, an art room, an exercise room, an open area, and a dining room of course. They cook them meals every day, they have a number of things they do, and they got a shuttle that goes around town for them. She takes her own medicines, and we have it all organized for her. She likes the food, too.

Janelle and Lacey have been very helpful at being our IT help people for my mother and she likes to still remain online. We REALLY appreciate all of their help when we cannot help Mom fix her issues over the phone. Activities have been great too. Staff is really working at keeping the folks active during Covid

I moved into Longmont Regent. I get three meals a day, plus two snacks. At present, Regent is adhering to the social distancing, so we get our meals in our rooms, but they are starting to slowly lift the dining room quarantine. They are starting to allow 20 people to have a meal in the dining room at random. You sign up to do that, and they put up a schedule once a week with what meals you are scheduled to go to. The dining room is up on the third floor, which is not inconvenient because there's an elevator. There's a large distance between the people in the dining room, it is served on regular porcelain plates, not styrofoam like you get in your room, you have choices of drinks and am entree. I bought the room unseen. I saw a virtual video of the room, and I was pleasantly surprised when I moved into the apartment. There are only four apartments that are like mine in design. I have a very comfortable living room, my bedroom is bigger than what I thought it would be, and it's more than comfortable. One end of the room is all closet, with more than 75% of the space for hanging things, and the rest is shelves. The bathroom is larger than I thought it would be, it has a high rise toilet, a walk-in shower, and the maintenance people put in an extra handicap handle for me. It's very comfortable. They completely renovated the room and repainted the whole thing. They provide a small apartment style refrigerator under the cabinets, and I can put in a regular refrigerator if I want to. I have a door that leads out into the hall where people park their mobility scooters instead of bringing them into their apartment. I have an external door going out to a covered patio, it has a screen door, and I have five windows in the living area. This is a long building, with a main entrance in the middle, and two branches going out left and right. So far, I'm very happy.

The environment is pleasant, spacious and comfortable. The tenants are happy, treated friendly and encouraged to participate to a large variety of activities to build community. The food is excellent, served warm, in quantity sufficient for seniors - less waste. The place is very quiet after dinner. Even though the Regent is an independent living facility, I would feel more secure if there was at least one person guarding the building at night. The personnel alarm system in case of a fall and injury, is well set up - quick 911 response., but overkill for an old person just needing a hand occasionally.

I’m a resident of Longmont Regent. I’m still adapting since it's a different situation, but I’m doing pretty good. You can come and go as you please, there are a lot of activities, you’re not far from downtown, and it’s convenient. The food leaves a little bit to be desired.

My mother is in Longmont Regent. The fact that they serve three meals a day to all of the residents at the same time makes it a very sociable environment. Because everyone is there at exactly the same time they get to know each other well. The staff is very friendly. They're just small apartments, but they're clean, nice, and they're not anything luxurious. It would be better if all of them had an outdoor area, but they don't. Some have outdoor areas and some don't. It's pretty easy for the residents to get around to places to eat and they're right across the street from a big supermarket, so that's good. It would be better if there was a park nearby or some more green areas. Main Street is a busy street, but it's not hard, it's fairly easy to get to. Considering the price, it gives you a lot more than most places.

I was not impressed with Longmont Regent at all. I had a meeting set with someone who was not there when I showed up. Somebody else had to show me around. Anybody up the street could just come in and out and nobody was there to monitor. I didn’t feel like it was a safe place. Out of all the places that I looked at, this was the worst. It was not in a good location because there were fast food restaurants around the area.

I am living at Longmont Regent, which is inexpensive. There is just one problem: they allow residents to smoke in their rooms and around the place. The room that I have is big, and I am very happy with that because it has big windows with lots of light. The food is excellent, and the dining room is very nice and pleasant.

Longmont's price was good. The staff was very friendly, and the manager of sales was excellent. My parents were impressed with the lady who does the dining room setup for the residents. They had a nice view of the restaurant. The activities were quite acceptable. The neighborhood is off a busy main street two miles away from where my husband and I live.

Longmont Regent was excellent. The staff was great and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was good. The rooms were nice and plentiful. There was nothing bad about it at all. They showed me the dining room, and I even got to try some of the cookies. It was clean and empty but really nice and well set up. The community was clean and well kept, and the people were friendly.

It was the only one in Colorado that my mother could afford. I thought it would be a dump but it was not. It is clean and comfortable and provides many in house activities, some that I think my mom will enjoy. I hope she will meet some new friends there and have people to do things with. She lived in Wyoming and my father died a couple years ago. They were married for 52f years. Except for my brother and I visiting as much as we could, she had nobody to talk to.

I had a very nice tour at Longmont Regent. I met a nice gentleman there who was the activity director and started a little friendship with them, but the place was too far for me. It’s 67 miles from where I live and from my family. The place was very nice. I didn’t see anybody in wheelchairs and walkers, but there were people in my age group who were active and got around, so that was the main thing. It was a very nice, small 1-bedroom apartment. We saw the food, and I had lunch there; it was very good.

We are an in-home care giving agency that was hired by one of the residents to assist with ADL's. Our caregivers who went into the establishment said that many of the cafeteria workers were rude and unpleasant to them and our client. Some of the management were very helpful and installed a grab bar in the bathroom for our client, which was very nice. However, when visiting the building during normal office hours the couple that claimed to be the managers were rude and extremely unhelpful. If the staff is going to be rude to people coming in to their building off the street, then it makes me wonder how the residents are treated who live there. Being helpful and courteous to people are basics in customer service and care. We are an agency that makes referrals and recommendations for seniors when they are unable to stay in their own home, and sadly, I would not recommend this establishment to any consumers, based on the unhelpful, unpleasant, and rude behavior of some of it's management.

My mom lives at Longmont Regent. It’s close to the hospital where my dad is. She visits my dad every day, so she doesn’t have time to participate in their activities. However, they could help with her visit to the hospital, but she still wants to drive. I’m guessing the apartment that she has is 1,100 square feet. They could improve the food; my mom complains about it.

I have my mom move to Longmont Regent and it seems like mom fits in there more. The clientele are more down to earth than the other places I looked at. I am not sure what activities she's joining in right now because she has to sit and keep her feet up most of the time, but she goes out to lunch with them, and she goes to tea and couple other things. They have a bus that takes them to Walmart, Target, and takes them out to lunch. I have had a couple of meals there, and they have really good food; it's really yummy. The staff is really friendly, nice, accommodating, and they want to get her involved. She's only been there a week, and so far so good. She is happy.

Searching for Independent Living Facility
Longmont Regent is a pleasant facility with a beautiful mountain view from the dining room. My Dad was excited to find an apartment that he really liked. The staff was very helpful, but then my Dad decided that he wasn't ready to move, and canceled his lease a couple of days later. The $1,300 that was charged to his credit card, and which we were told was refundable if he changed his mind, still hasn't been credited back to his credit card a month later. He was told that this has to go through the Corporate Office, and he hasn't been able to reach anyone in that office. We are frustrated, as my Dad likes the place, and would consider moving there in the future, but now feels uncomfortable with the lack of assistance with his refund.

Longmont is fixed up nicely and it was clean. I had a meal with my friend and it was good. It seemed like they always have something going on for entertainment. They had a movie day and a place where they got ice cream. They also have a beauty shop. They had a van there which would take her when she needed to go places. They’ve invited me to try all kinds of different things. The people who worked there seemed nice.
