AltaVita Assisted Living Memory Care Centre just seemed like a warm place. My mother loves music and they have some music programs. Everything was clean. Everybody was very personable. So, it was a good tour experience overall. The gentleman was very knowledgeable about everything we asked and was concerned about my situation, which was important to me. They have a beauty salon, laundry service, and restaurant-style dining.

AltaVita is lovely but very expensive. The staff said they have a lot of independent residents who don't need assistance yet. It's top notch and absolutely gorgeous. It even has a bar set up in the entry way. The staff and the guests are very friendly. I would have moved in there in a minute except that it is not adequate for my puppy. You could walk your dog there, but they don't want them in the halls.

When we visited AltaVita Assisted Living Memory Care Centre, I felt like the person that we talked to was just a salesperson and not very compassionate. And when we walked through the place, it didn't seem very warm. It was a beautiful place, but it just wasn't inviting and didn't feel like a family home. It was very hard to find, located in an industrial type area. The memory care facility was so locked in.

AltaVita was very good. I was able to look at both the memory unit as well as the assisted living. In particular, in the memory care, the individual rooms were larger than I thought they would be. There were different views, shapes, and sizes, too. They appeared to have adequate staff. The meals looked to be well-prepared. The staff appeared to be friendly. In the assisted living area, the dining room was very nice. There was a variety of menu options. The office staff was engaging and very helpful. They had a number of activities for the assisted living folks to participate in. The security appeared adequate to me. The maintenance appeared to be fine. The building was relatively new. As far as the amenities go, I think they were quite nice. I think they have everything that people there wanted.

Mom is in AltaVita. They have an excellent staff, and their activities director, Gemma, has an incredible energy and is very passionate about her job. It's really rewarding to see her work with them. It's well kept up and laid out with people with dementia and Alzheimer's in mind. It allows them to wander around. They have four different communities in each square that are color coded. The people are very well trained. The staff is far better than what we've seen in other facilities my mother has been in. They have a little cafeteria in each of the four areas, and there's 12 to 15 in each area. It's laid out with someone who really understands the clientele.

My mother has been a resident at Alta Vita for almost a year. I had heard many good things about the facility before visiting and when I met the kind and caring staff I knew I had found the right place for my mom. She absolutely loves it there. The programs, especially the music curriculum, are stimulating and engaging. The staff is attentive and caring. They treat her with respect and dignity and are trained to handle whatever comes up. Alta Vita gave me my life back and is helping my mother to thrive as she navigates this next chapter of her life..

My husband has been a resident nearly 3 years and he considers Alta Vita his home.. Thanks to Dr. Long who designed the facility, its campus, its programs and its mission. It is truly like a home, small , interconnected house with loving caring caregivers. The opportunities for an interesting program of activities which residents can partake of or not, stimulates them. What a great place for my loved one!

My mom has lived at Alta Vita for 3 years. The staff and caregivers are all very loving, patient, warm, concerned, demonstrative, friendly.....I could go on. Caregivers treat residents like they are their family. They have fun activities, and an unbelievable choir. They also have support meetings for family of residents. I highly recommend this facility.

When you have a relative who reaches the point where memory care is best for them, AltaVita is an excellent choice. Having experienced both, there is a big difference between privately owned, AltaVita, and multi-unit corporate memory care facilities in the level of care of residents and the treatment of employees which also translates into better care for the residents. Choosing AltaVita is a decision you will not regret.

AltaVita was great; we really liked it. It would have been my first choice, but I could not convince my mom to move to Longmont. It seemed to be very specialized for memory care. They seem to have a really good handle on the needs of memory care patients. Very personable. Everyone seemed happy there. Everyone was clean and well dressed. It was quite small, but I guess for memory care patients, it’s not a bad thing.

Alta Vita Memory Care is great. The facility is brand new. They have just opened a new wing and my father was the first person in the new wing. They are memory care only. It is locked down and so far we haven't have any problem with them. He is in a private room and he has his own bathroom, but it's just big enough for a bed, a chair and night stand. They had a sitting area outside of the room where there is a sofa and TV and they also have a dining area.
