I did a quick tour of Waneka Park Assisted Living. The rooms were comfortable, but they were kind of small. I would have had trouble getting the very few things that I have in there. The staff that I talked to was good. I saw the dining room and it was OK. There was nothing spectacular about this place, and it just didn't jive with me. They had a library, a chapel, and a nice outdoor area in the back. They also had a community garden.

It is very good. We really like it. The dining area is like a restaurant with very fancy tablecloths and flowers on the tables. It is very nice. They were busy working in the kitchen, but everybody stopped to say hello. The staff members were very helpful and very nice. We did see one apartment on the main floor, and it was very nice. It had bars everywhere to help you in the bathroom. It was all very nice.

It was an older facility, but the grounds were nice, and the staff who gave me the tour was wonderful. They had one area in front that had greenery. There was not enough space for people to go outside, and they were surrounded by shopping centers. The rooms were bright, they had light, and I had a good impression. It was farther in terms of location.

My mother lived there for a year and loved being around all the other people. It was very structured for her which was very good.

My mother was a resident for just under a year. The staff were WONDERFUL! They welcomed her with open arms and engaged her in activities. She had that spark in her eye again. She was able to make a contribution to a community again, visit and keep an eye out for fellow residents which gave her a purpose from day to day. The staff always made her feel important and welcomed her input. The facility was always clean,
