Mary Sandoe is an awesome place to live. My mother is a current resident. The staff there are caring and kind and the food is incredible. The activities are good and everyone is so helpful. The management has a good team and encourages all residents to do as much as they can but offers so much assistance, more than most facilities and the price is all inclusive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to put their loved one in a place that is like a home. Very small, cozy and clean place, very well managed and great staff!

My 92 year old mother has been cared for and loved by the extremely kind staff since April. She has early stage dementia and I am so happy she is treated with kindness. The house itself is always clean and the community room full of activities for patients. I would highly recommend this home.

My father lived at the Boulder Mary Sandoe house for several years before they decided his dementia was becoming so bad they could no longer take care of him. I realized after moving him out of his room and seeing piles of trash and dirty laundry that he was not receiving any sort of help with personal care or keeping his room clean. On top of that, the director of activities sent us to John's new home with the incorrect medication, which is taking weeks to sort out. I am now convinced for years he was also receiving incorrect meds at the Mary Sandoe House. Now that my father is no longer with the Sandoe House and is with a much better-organized assisted living facility, I feel comfortable bringing up these issues. I still worry about the quality of care for Mary Sandoe residents who my father came to call very good friends over the years.
