I feel like Frasier Meadows is more of a community. They really encourage people to do things together. They were very caring and very attentive. It feels more like a home. The event that I attended was a party. There was music and there was a lot of interaction between people. There's a lot of sharing of one another's stories. I really like that. People knew more about one another.

My parents moved there last April. They have their own apartment, and it's really nice. They have to pay so much for food every month (they are required to), but I am so glad. They are eating a lot better now than they were when they were living on their own. It's very clean and there are a lot of activities. I guess the only thing I don't really like about the place, is having to sign in when I go in the front door, but I am glad there is some security. There are always activities going on somewhere in the place so my parents are very busy now, which is also good for them. They have someone come in once a month to clean and check on them, and there are always lots of people around. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I also like the fact that they (my parents) have a patio they can go outside on from their apartment. They were even allowed to get a small dog. Oh, and they have their own thrift store and weight room etc. Pretty fun!

I have always been very impressed with this assisted living care facility. They have all the amenities the elderly would ever need, including restaurants, activities, great facilities and more. It really stands out becuase most retirement homes are depressing, while this one everyone seems to be happy and have plenty of things to do. There are always social activities going on, such as lunches, concerts, gardening and more. They also have many resident lead clubs for all types of interests from sewing to swimming. There are also two resturants, both with excellent food and staff. You can tell that the chefs really know what they are doing, because the restaurants are better than most non retirement community restaurants. Overall I would have to give this facility a great review simply because of how much effort the staff puts into making it such a great place for the elderly to spend their days.
