Covenant Village was where my mother did rehab after hospitalization, and I would not recommend it. It was old and hadn’t been updated with anything; it was rundown. The nurse aides were inattentive. My mom was there for rehab, but she was refusing physical therapy, and she is paying out of pocket; nobody ever told us that she was refusing so we could have done something.

I visited Covenant Village of Colorado. I thought it was a really nice place. It was an old building, but it seemed to be well cared for, and the residents seemed to be pretty happy there. The dining room setup seemed to be pretty nice. They had two areas for dining, which was nice.

I saw the Covenant Village. I didn't care for it. It seemed dark to me, and I didn't get the feeling of brightness and friendliness that I did with some of the others. It seemed very nice, but it was very structured, more so than I would want. It didn?t have the light, bright, openness that I really look for or like or enjoy. They had activities. They have a big chapel. I like the location. The residents were friendly. I don't think they encourage you to have pets that much, but if you insisted or had a pet that you wouldn't move without, that was all right, but they weren?t as entertaining as some places. I would say the floor plans were very nice. I didn't find it awesome, but I found it nice. I thought the staff was well informed and did a good job. I didn't find the enthusiasm that I did at some others.

It's a lovely facility. It's very beautifully decorated. Everything, like the furniture, is very lovely visually when you walk in. The people are very pleasant and welcoming. The food was good, I've eaten there twice. The apartment that I have on hold is lovely, very nice. They provide all of the services.
