My stay of eight days was the result of surgery and the need for rehabilitation. I was very impressed with this facility: The nurses were professional and knowledgeable, the Physical therapists very helpful in getting me up and moving and my room was large and comfortable. I was most impressed and pleased to find everyone from top to bottom were extraordinary in their cheerfulness and helpfulness. This is most unusual in today's environment.

TERRIBLE PLACE TO HAVE A LOVED ONE. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION. INCONSISTENT INFORMATION. The facility may look clean and professional, but after my husband drives 2 hours to see his Mom and can't speak to anyone knowledgeable about her care, it's beyond frustrating. We were patient and understanding at first, but thank God we got her out of there. How do they call themselves health care workers?

Horrible experience!! First off my father was dropped off and taken to a room and he sat for almost 2 hours in the wheelchair he was brought in without any care. We were given a flyer for a "meet and greet" with admin in which no one from the facility showed up to. There is NO communication. The staff act like they hate their jobs. We had ONE pleasant CNA that I would acknowledge but no one EVER offered their name. His bathroom was covered in feces until we complained a week later. We were not given a walker until 5 days after admission after asking several times for one. He was given another patients IV medication and it was blown off by administration since "it was the same medication that he was supposed to get" (thank goodness.) It was reported to the MD that he had CDiff so he was put in isolation and my brother cancelled a trip to see him, then we find out 2 days later that they gave the MD someone elses results and he did not have it, so the trip was cancelled for no reason. We tried to leave AMA but were told by admin that Medicare wouldn't pay unless he was there for a week. Come to find out after calling Medicare that this isn't true. I called 2 days after his admission to discuss my concerns with administration about his care and NEVER received a phone call back. Poor facility all the way around!!!

We have had an extremely negative experience with our loved one at this facility. Please, do not put your loved ones in the care of the negligent staff working at The Center at CenterPlace. My father was transferred to the Center at CenterPlace following a horrible car accident and multiple broken bones. He is unable to walk. His evening nurse came in and informed him that none of the other staff showed up for their shift that evening and she was caring for all 47 patience on her own. She also let him know that if he needed anything, he needed to ask now because she would not come back in to check on him. With no surprise, he needed the nurse to empty his urinal so he could relieve himself, so he pushed the Nurse Call button. Over an hour had passed with no assistance. The only way he was able to get her attention was by whistling extremely loud inside of his room. The doctor came in this morning and said, "your condition might be fatal" and left the room without any further explanation. With his "fatal" condition looming over our heads, we asked if he would be transferred to another facility to get the care he needs. The nurses were unaware of his needed procedure and said they might do it in 1-2 days. We had to arrange his transfer to a different hospital on our own! (Surprise - he does not have a "fatal" condition and the transfer was not necessary.) We will be looking elsewhere to continue his care. The unprofessionalism, negligence and incompetence of the staff is not something we will continue to deal with while our loved one's life is on the line.

I'm in The Center at Center Place. I'm in rehab right now. The people are pretty good. They're good and caring people. Most of the staff there are great. The food is pretty good. The layout and cleanliness are just great. They have rehab type programs, but since COVID, nobody has activities like social activities. They have balconies and stuff, but so much is shutdown because of COVID. You can't go out.

My mom was at The Center at CenterPlace. They were fabulous. The staff was excellent. They were very attentive. The physical therapy was really aggressive. They helped my mom stand the best. She was at another rehab place that was supposed to be more aggressive, but this rehab place, their physical therapists were incredible. They were very attentive, they were courteous, and they just went out of their way to help my mom. My sister said the food was excellent. My mom said it wasn't very good. They had bingo. They came and painted her fingernails. They had a whole bunch of stuff. Actually, somebody came into her room and played music for her one day because she couldn't come out, because she wasn't feeling well. I thought the value for the money was good.

My husband was at The Center at CenterPlace, and our experience was not satisfactory. If you're going there for therapy, don't bother, because they don't do it. The caregivers were always great though, and it was a nice facility with nice rooms. They were spacious, but they didn't clean them every day. They had a lot of parking, so the location was great.
