I wasn't completely satisfied with Bee Hive Homes Of Grand Junction. One particular male worker I found to be distant and almost uncaring. It was just a business to him. My husband was very unhappy there and unless you were really quite ill, you had to come to the table for meals. They had a long porch where people could go out and sit, and I'd encourage my husband to walk and sit out in the fresh air, but the chairs and tables looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in six months or a year so that bothered me. The location was good though. Outwardly it looked good unless you sat down on the chairs which had cobwebs on it. They had a big TV room which most people didn't even bother to go and watch in. Before Halloween, they had a gentleman come in and carve pumpkins. When it was somebody's birthday, ordinarily a family member took care of it, not the facility. As far as the room my husband had, it was a nice size with its own private bathroom and they laundered the sheets.
