My mother-in-law is living in Springs Ranch Memory Care now and she's safe and that's all we needed. I love the staff, and I love that the building is built for the specific use of memory care. There's not anything I don't like about it. It's been a good experience for her and us. It's a modern building that looks homey like someplace you want to go and stay. It doesn't look like a hospital, so that's the nice thing.
There's a beauty/barber salon and a dining room. My mother-in-law played bingo yesterday. They have different activities for them to do every day. They have a courtyard where they can go outside and still be safe. It's a protected courtyard and not just anybody can get there. You have to go through the building to get there, so it's nice that they can be outside and still be protected. I haven't eaten there, but she is not complaining, and she's picky. Recently, they did a public event where they were outside and they did an open house for people to come by and see more about their facility. We feel like she's safe and that's priceless.
