I needed physical rehab, after a stroke. This place looks nice, they have a decent selection of food and nice rooms, etc. but they are "understaffed". I could not get any physical rehab until I nearly screamed for it. Their Goal seemed to be to keep me flat on my back in bed 24/7, which I did not appreciate, and that did me no good. No, I would not stay here (nor put anyone else in here) on a bet. MEGA $$$$ - and for what? Look elsewhere.

During my second stay at the Resort my expectations continued to be met at the highest level. Once again, I found the staff to be responsive,kind,caring,and professional. The rooms are sufficient to meet my needs and the food tasty Thanks to everyone.

I liked The Healthcare Resort of Colorado Springs very much. My room, the care, and the therapy were good, but I was there for just a short time. Management was very good, and the food was good. They had caring nurses and doctors. I was in bad shape when I got there, and they helped me get to where I am now. The care and staff were excellent, and the medication dispensation was accurate. The physical therapy team was very well qualified and skilled, and I benefited very much. I would like to stay there in their assisted living as well.

By all appearances this is a nice place but there is some changes that need to happen. When you put your call light on you end up waiting a very long time. They are very short staffed. When we first talked to administration they seemed to indicate there were more CNA‘s then there are but evidently that is incorrect. The dining room is very nice and the staff is very polite but there’s a long wait to get served. The therapy department is very good, we were quite impressed with all of them. I would definitely recommend the rehab department but overall the other issues definitely need attending to.

My father-in-law has been at The Healthcare Resort of Colorado Springs for almost a month. We weren't impressed. They were really bad with assistance. If my father-in-law rang the button, it could take them hours to help him. My husband put him to bed every night instead of them. When it came to them helping him do things, they were so slow. Everyone was very nice though and the food was amazing since they had a great chef. The place was very beautiful, with fireplaces and a nice eating area. It looked like a nice resort, except the rooms were too small. My father-in-law had a private room, but they did have shared rooms. Their therapy was amazing though and they did a great job with rehab.
