I'm putting my dad in Serenity House. They have 17 different locations in the Denver metro area. We chose it because he will have his own room, there are only eight residents, and it's very tidy, and clean. They were making lunch when we were there and the lunches looked good. The most important part was it is small, and because he is an introvert, he would be better with just a couple of people or three or four people around him. It's a residential house, but they have different levels of care. They have level one where they can do most anything, level two for people with dementia who are still functioning, and level three for people who are not in very good shape. They have a beautiful back patio, leather sofas with really big TVs, and every room has a TV. The back patio is really big, and they have barbecues there. It's like living in a home rather than living in an institution.
