Rosemark is a mixed bag. The things that matter most are inconsistent and poorly executed more often than you would hope or expect. If your family member’s health is changing rapidly or their needs are more complex I suggest you look elsewhere.
Do not expect:
- proactive communication or service on your family member’s behalf
- consistent or excellent systems and processes
- compassion for you as a care giver
- warm loving care for your family member
- thoroughness
- yummy healthy food every day
- exceptional service or quality
Do expect:
- an executive director who shirks responsibility for the actions of her direct reports
- extremely high turnover
- lack of accountability
- lots of running around, trying to put our fires
- delays in returned calls
- less than healthy meals with few fresh vegetables
- some very caring and consistent staff
- C-level service at A-level pricing
- a lovely building
- lovely special events
- popular activities such as Bingo and happy hour
