First of all, the building is old. If your love doesn't have any major health issues then the care is ok. Some of the staff were great, some not so much and some don't speak English so they don't understand what you are asking for most of the time. As for the food, as long as you eat everything, you should be fine. But the food is nothing to brag about. Sometimes the food didn't get cooked correctly and it made most of the people sick, sometimes overcooked. Poor housekeeping as well. So I suggest really looking at other options if you can afford them. Maybe a better-updated facility. thx

We moved our mother to Mapleton after a disastrous stay at a corporate owned facility.The care she has received here,and the care her family has received is more than we could ever hope for. Since the covid outbreak they have continued their excellent care under the most unbelievably trying circumstances. They are operating with the same care at great personal cost to their staff.Five stars is nowhere near enough to rate the excellence of this facility.They have the gratitude of our entire family.

After reviewing several nursing homes we chose Mapleton Care Center for my sister. We were impressed when we did a tour of the facility, but we had no idea that they offered so much more, as we learned after my sister was admitted. Many of the staff has been there for over 15 years, and they were caring, attentive, and just great to my sister. The facility is older, but is always very clean, has a cheerful atmosphere, and provides a lot of activities for the residents which included games, contests, holiday parties, and more. The Owner/manager is on-site, and makes sure all residents are taken care of. It is also air conditioned, which some facilities aren't. I highly recommend Mapleton. My sister had the best care possible, and I thank them for that.

Mother in law admitted two years ago in urgent circumstances. She is so much better than when she lived at home. Staff caring, responsive, loving. Communication with staff is excellent. They call about the slightest thing. I feel blessed that we found this facility. It came highly recommended and it has exceeded expectations. Facility is clean and happy. Owner knows everyone, patients and family, and is involved on a day to day basis. He maintains, and occupies, an office in the facility. Nurses, social workers, and support staff are all great. Lots of activities for residents. Rooms are small but clean and very homey. Interactions with staff great.

I've been to a number of assisted living and nursing homes. This is by far the best. The owner has been there 15 years and many of the staff have been there 9 to 20 or more years. Some of the residents have reached 99, 101 and 102. That doesn't happen without good care and caring personnel. My friend is 84 who just transferred there from Florida. She is really happy and getting better. She was in a rehab center in Florida and they wouldn't let her walk. Here they encourage it and she's thrilled.

Mapleton Care Center provides excellent care. The care that my mom is receiving is more than what we expected. It's a very caring facility. Everybody there just really cares a lot about the patients. The rooms are nice and very clean. It's an older facility, but they are kept very clean.

Mapleton Care Center was recommended to me for my mother. It is a clean facility. She has been there for about three months now. The staff is very good. I would recommend this place.
