My husband is at Life Care Center of Aurora and he's getting very good care. His room is very clean. The caregivers are very nice. I have talked to the dietitian several times, and she lets me know that he's eating well as well as what he's eating. The staff is good, but the weekend staff is not as good. They've done well with his therapy.

My parents are in Life Care Center of Aurora for rehab. The staff seemed nice enough. I know theyre overworked, and sometimes, my parents have to wait longer after they pushed the button. Its very nice and clean. They have a work-out room and sitting areas. The food looks good, and my mom seems to like it.

My mother is on her third month in Life Care Center of Aurora. It is skilled nursing, and they're trying to get her wound on her left leg healed up. It is a good place. They have a physical therapy department in-house. They're trying to get my mother back on her feet. The rooms are fine. She is in a private room. Unfortunately, it is private pay, and the price is a little bit steep. The food is quite good. She likes it. Their menu is good. They usually have at least a couple of choices, but being an in-patient there, she can order anything she wants from their additional menu. They have a pretty good schedule of activities too, but right now, she is not participating too much. I would recommend them. They have a good, large staff, who are able to handle most things, which I appreciate.

This place was awesome to my mom. They treated her with respect and made her feel like she mattered to them. She absolutely loves the food. The place we rescued her from had horrible food and it smelled horrible the minute you walked in the door. Life Care Center of Aurora never smelled bad. It felt like we were walking into a hotel when we got there. I would recommend this place to anyone that needed the care.

We were so lucky to be able to rescue my mom from a different nursing home and get her into this one! I would give more than 5 stars if I could! The food is good and they serve it hot and give choices. The nurses and other employees are wonderful. When we walked in, there was a clean smell about it, Life Care never had that 'nursing home smell' that is at other places. We Highly recommend Life Care Center of Aurora. We love them. My mom was 91 and was happy there.

My son-in-law was at Life Care Center of Aurora for two months. The place is very clean with no terrible odors when you walk in the door. I found them very capable and very good in the care that they gave him, but the meals are of question. I don’t think they were the best. Their rooms were very adequate, not extremely glamorous, but adequate for his needs at that time. They have multiple dining areas, and certain rooms were assigned at certain sections. It was average. Their therapy was outstanding. They do have different activities. They have weekly ice cream socials with entertainment. They also have areas with big TV, and they serve some snacks. They have an accordion player or violinist that comes in once a week. They also would post some tours that they had monthly.

I thought that it was a very nice facility and at the personnel were all very friendly. However they should have kept the bathrooms more sanitized. If all the patients seem like they were getting valuable care and they were not unhappy. The think that they should have done more activities with the patients. Overall it has a good atmosphere, however, needs to better managed. Overall I would say that it is probably a nice place to live for the patients, the outside was very nice. the only thing that the facility lacks is a standardized routine for upkeep, maintenance, and they are perhaps a bit of lackadaisical when it comes to keeping a cleaning schedule. Also they could use more variety and taste in the food. They can bring more interaction by allowing the patients to choose the menu or even cook for themselves and their fellow residents.
