I liked the Lakewood Reserve. It was very nice. The only reason that I didn't choose them is because they are farther away from me. There was a lot of residents that were out visiting, playing cards, sitting in the cafeteria, and having a snack with family members. We talked to a couple of family members and the residents and they were all very happy. I really, really liked it. The staff during the tour was very, very good, very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. They offered a gym, a salon, a private dining room, and a courtyard. It's in a neighborhood and the view is kind of important for my mom. She likes to look outside, and there wasn't much of a view, but it's a very nice facility. I would definitely recommend them.

My dad is at Lakewood Reserve, A Juniper Senior Living Community. It has a really good price on a very roomy unit. Even if it's not real convenient to where I live, it's better than a lot of the facilities here. The layout is kind of spread out though; there's a lot of walking that seniors have to do to get to the dining room when it's open (which is not right now, because of their COVID protocol). They're basically doing tray services to everyone's room. The staff is certainly eager to help. I smelled the food, seen it, and I don't think it's bad; my dad just got a very specific taste. He just does not like any institutional food. Then they also have games, exercise, some hobbies (like arts and crafts), and music. The only thing was they told my dad they would give him some bingo cards, but they never did. He was new that week, but it's a pretty good value for the money.

Last month, I began the overwhelming search for an assisted living facility for my aging parent. After speaking to Jesenia at Lakewood Reserve, I knew I’d found the best fit for my Dad. Jesenia spent a great deal of time on a virtual tour with myself and my husband. She answered countless questions and maintained open lines of communication amidst the roadblocks presented by the pandemic (even on her days off). Jesenia is organized, knowledgeable, friendly and extremely professional. She has been a delight to work with and has helped alleviate a great deal of my stress. Each of my interactions with the staff at Lakewood Reserve have been wonderful and I cannot say enough nice things about this team. It is evident that they not only enjoy their jobs, they also truly love the residents.

Lakewood Reserve was nicer than I expected. It didn't look like a facility as such. The food could have been a little bit better, but overall, the building and everything seemed nice. The staff was nice, cooperative, and knowledgeable. I was quite impressed with them and I had no issues with them at all. It was kept up, the grounds looked nice, and there was a nice walking area.

A little pricey, but then ,what place isn't these days. Food quality and selection is very good to excellent. Helping staff is for the most part, excellent,as well. Pets are accepted if well-behaved. The staff will even walk your dog, if needed.

My mother has been at Atria Inn at Lakewood for 7 weeks now and she likes it a lot. They have a library, dining room where you order off of a menu, and a tiered system for backup nurses, so if you need more nursing care it's available. If you need none at all, you can also have that. They have very cheerful staff and a bright, cheerful, and sunny environment. The rooms are not big. They have bridge, pinochle, Bingo, guest speakers, and outdoor barbecues. They even take residents for a drive on Sundays for 2 hours to the mountains or a new part of Denver where they're developing things. They also take them to the doctors and to the grocery stores on their buses. It's working out quite nice. You have your room and you order per month how much help you want. She is at 0 help right now, but if she needs it, we can add it. The chef is doing a no salt diet for her. He is completely cooking separate for her and going above and beyond what I would expect. They've been wonderful. They're always trying to look for more things for their residents to be involved in. They have bible study, book club, current events, discussions, movies, and they take them to the theater. It's very complete and has everything you can imagine. It's a little bit more expensive than some, but it's worth it.

Our visit at Atria Inn at Lakewood was good. We were really happy with it. The reason we didn’t choose it was because it was more expensive and the rooms were further away from the dining room. It was a larger facility, so it would have been harder for my mom to get to the dining room. The value was not as good, but it was clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful. They had activities. The rooms were nice. It gave me a good impression.

We visited Atria Inn at Lakewood. It was a lovely place that we liked a lot, but it was too expensive. It seemed like a very nice place if I could afford it. The rooms seemed smaller but had beautiful public rooms. It was very nice. We thought the care there was good from what we could see. However, we could not afford it, so they recommended we check out the other facilities.

Atria Inn at Lakewood was a very nice facility. We took a quick tour, and it was a lovely and clean place. We saw their dining room, which was very nice. The rooms were a bit small; a one-bedroom just wouldn't work for us. The staff seemed very nice and friendly. From what we saw and what they were offering, it looked very nice and well maintained. The people seemed happy there. They were having a group music entertainment session. It was a nice pleasant experience.

The facility seemed fine, but I did not care for the attitude of the people that we talked with at the Atria; that was because we were older people, and they were talking down to us. We may be old, but we haven't lost our brains yet. In other words, they were condescending, and I don't care for condescending people. I don't want to live there, and it is very expensive, so we just wiped it off our list. It just turned me off because I don't want to live where somebody is condescending towards me.

I did visit Atria. We thought it was too large. It was very nice. Everybody was very pleasant. It was just too far away, but it's also not the right community for us. What stood out was how clean it was and how personable it was. The staff and the sanitation were very nice.

My in-laws were at Atria Inn at Lakewood. The facility was fancy and beautiful. Everything was perfect. It was a great facility. However, because this facility is big, what happened was my in-laws were getting lost in the shuffle. My in-laws have some memory problems, so they couldn't identify if there was a problem themselves. Also the staff couldn't be in more than one place at one time. This facility was offering tiered level care, so you pay rent but then they increase the monthly fee depending on what my in-laws' needs are. We were paying extra for them to take my in-laws to meals, remind them for activities and encourage them to drink water. However, my in-laws were hospitalized several times for dehydration while being there. We were under the illusion that extra care was happening consistently. What caused us to leave was that my mother-in-law fell coming back from the dining room by herself and she broke her shoulder. We were paying them for somebody to take them down to the dining room and yet this happened. As a whole, it was a beautiful community, like a 5-star hotel. It looked beautiful and very elegant. It may be perfect for some people, but not for my in-laws.

Atria Inn at Lakewood is head and shoulders above other assisted living communities in the area. The facility is bright, clean and inviting. The staff are very attentive and know all their residents by name. Everyone was very supportive of my in-laws during their transition from independent living, and continue to listen to and honor individual preferences whenever possible. The administration maintains open communication with our family and has demonstrated a high level of concern and involvement when my in-laws had medical needs. I am happy to recommend Atria Inn at Lakewood.

This is an extremely large facility with a capacity of over two hundred residents. Though the size can be a little intimidating, the sheer number of amenities easily makes up for it, not to mention all the opportunities the residents have to make new acquaintances. During a visit here, I witnessed one of the residents playing a game of pool with his son. From what I gathered, they used to have a family pool table and the man taught his son to play pool there. A pool table at this facility is just a small way for a resident and his son to stay connected in a world where so much has changed for them. I like it that this facility makes it so easy for residents and their families to live happily.
