They have fabulous therapists! When I first arrived there, I was a broken mess, barely able to sit up and certainly unable to walk. When I left, I could walk with a walker, dress myself, use a toilet instead of a diaper, and generally about as close to normal as they could get me. And the nursing staff was also first-rate. I owe them all a lot!

I went to Highline Rehabilitation and Care Community. It was nice. I got there about lunchtime. They were just cleaning up from lunch. So, the staff took me on a tour of where different things are, and they have a nice outside area. I looked at cash paying for that, and it's $348 a day. They were clean. I had to go through a pretty thorough check-in, they took my temperature and I had to answer the questions about COVID, things like that. And everybody seemed to be busy not standing around in the hallways talking. So, that showed me that the people there take their job seriously.

I have been a resident here for the past 20 days for rehab. The PT and OT team is awesome and had me standing on one leg in no time, as I have been non-weight bearing since my fall. They carefully planned and initiated my treatment. I would highly recommend them as well as the nursing staff at Highline. Food isn't bad either :-)

My mom went here for rehab after a car accident. She is 90. The staff bent over backwards to get her bed, chair and room in general fixed up for her. Everyone was kind and helpful especially the admissions director Anita. Unfortunately she did not stay as she expected a fancier place. It is not, but a lot more open and accomodating than where she ended up. It looked to be well staffed and someone actually came when you hit the help button.

My wife was a resident of this facility for 9 months until she was recently discharged home with hospice services. She has end stage MS and had many challenging care related issues. This was a very emotional time for me and my family but the nursing and social services staff was always attentive and accommodating having care conferences whenever I asked. I will be always grateful for the care their nursing staff gave my beloved wife.

The only thing I like about this facility is the Phyical Therapy Department. When I call and have to be transferred to the nurses station the phone rings so long it rings back to the front desk, This happens all the time, especially at night and on the weekends. My dad has to call me at home so I can call them and let them know that he needs assistance (RIDICULOUS). The patients call light could be on for hours before they are even checked on. My dads roommate fell and my dad pushed the call button, and it was almost two hours before someone came in to check. Some of the staff just don't care, and the food is horrible. They have no problem letting you know when the bill is due, and for what they charge at these places you would think that someone could at least answer the phone and check the call lights. Someone could die and they wouldn't know it.

Fabulous care. The staff are personable and caring. The PT and OT are knowledgeable and offer rehab at the right pace. After 16 days there, my husband certainly got to know everyone with hugs all around when we left this morning. The food was varied and the patients can order side salads, fruit, ice cream, etc. Breakfast at 8:00, lunch at 12:30 and dinner at 5:00 or 5:30.

In the beginning all of these care facilities seem great until u have a loved one that needs to spend a lot of time at one and u begin to see just how scary and unkind these people can be. Why is it so hard to find quality care for the seniors and the disabled? They have new chefs and patients are not getting their dinner meals until 7:00 or 7:30pm. This is agitating to the patients. Some of your staff and CNAs are uncaring and rude. I fear these facilities just like having to leave ur child at daycare. If you are not there to monitor the caregivers daily there is no telling how the patients will be treated. These people forget that one day they may be in the same situation would u want someone to treat u like this. I have seen animals treated better than this.It is rediculous!

The communication among staff/departments could be better, but it's a caring place to be in!
