I did a tour of Fountaingrove Lodge, and it had everything I could want and more. It was top of the line. The apartments were spectacular. The staff was friendly and extensive. I think the staff was almost two-to-one; one staff to two clients.
They had dogs, art rooms, and they had a garden place if you wanted to garden. They have a movie theater. They fed us lunch, and it was spectacular. It was just like eating in a restaurant. It was outstanding. They have a separate bar that has snacks and you can go to that instead of going to dinner. The person who led us was very good, and very helpful without being pushy at all. He was just trying to give us good information.
The food, I would call it excellent. A lot of variety, a menu to choose from, and good service staff. They had every conceivable amenity and activity. They had a game room, and a pool room, and a separate card room. The facilities themselves are beautiful. On one side, you look out on a vista over the city, and on the other side, you look out on the golf course. It's just beautiful.

We had a very nice tour at Fountaingrove Lodge yesterday. We visited the independent living facility, but this is a continuing care facility, so it's possible that we would migrate to assisted living later on. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, and seemed like very intelligent, caring people. We didn't get a full meal, but they gave us snacks and the menu looked fantastic. They're still operating under the Covid rules and we had a dog with us, so we could not sit down in a formal dining room. It's a first-class facility. It's the nicest one I've ever seen in terms of quality. It's like a first-class hotel. It's an outstanding place.
