I went to Hummel Village. It was wonderful, but you have to be able to cook and drive. That wouldn't be wise for me. I'm too close to needing more care so I would have to leave there anyway. You have to be independent to live there. It was a nice place for seniors. It was a lovely place. They have complexes of four apartments and each one has a garage. They have a common area as well. They have bingo, but that's all. This is for people who are really independent whether they're alone or have a spouse. It would be a lovely place to live.

I am living at Hummel Village Retirement. They have free housekeeping, meals, utilities, and gardening service. There is a community room, which crafts are done and other things. Their staff are very nice and the food is very good. It’s really like home cooking. Everyone likes the menu.

I am currently living at Hummel Village. I feel at home, and it doesn’t feel institutional. You need to have your own car, and they serve lunch five days a week. I have two bedrooms, a bath, kitchen, and a living room. It has a four car garage on each house. They also have another apartment that is for guests. They also have showers that you can go into if you have a wheelchair. They have a complete kitchen for you if you need it. They also have a nice living room. It’s very nice.
