Ansel Park Independent Living was very nice. I walked in and saw my name welcoming me there for the tour. The lady that showed me around was most informative about the amenities. The atmosphere of the place was good. They have the meals, transportation, and housekeeping. While they didn't have a washer and dryer in the room, they do have a hookup so you could bring your own. They got an informal dining area and they got the main dining room, which was set up just like a restaurant. It's a big room with tables for four, and it was very well done. They got the exercise room and the theater. They had a class going on in the fitness room. Otherwise, it's pretty quiet. The grounds were good. It's got a nice setting. It's got the wetlands behind it. It's more of a country atmosphere. There's a lot of open lands, although they're going to build medical offices across the street from their place. The other staff I met in passing said good morning and whatnot.

Ansel Park Independent Living was very attractive. The residents seemed very friendly and outgoing which I like. The staff who gave me the tour was very good. The one thing that stands out to me is that much of the space is taken up with a full-size kitchen, and I don't expect to be doing much cooking. I think a microwave and a small refrigerator are sufficient. It seems to be a waste of space for me. I had dinner there but I wasn't overly enthusiastic about the food.
