Everyone at Fountain Glen (Lauren, Teneka, Reggie, Justin) are very helpful and courteous. The residents are nice and there are activities planned if you want to partake.

My father is at Fountain Glen Terra Vista. The apartments are nice. I like it. They offer a gym and different classes. The leasing office people are pretty nice. They keep the facility clean and they have a lot of activities.

When I visited Fountain Glen Terra Vista, it was late in the afternoon and the office was closing, but I did get a tour of the building. It was kind of close to where I live now. The apartments much smaller than I expected since I came from a house with a lot of furniture. It was very nice. I understood that they smoke there, but I was in a smoke-free environment. They had a rec room and a swimming pool. It was a very nice, clean place. I don't have any complaints.

My mom is doing fine at Fountain Glen Terra Vista. She has been there for 4 years and has made plenty of friends. She's got groups that she plays with or she goes shopping with, and so she is content there. They have celebrations for birthdays, and they have outings to Walmart or Target or stops at Victoria Gardens and to the movies. It is very well-kept, and everything is clean; things are in order. She has a two-bedroom, two bath -- and she uses one bedroom for her sewing -- and then she has her small dining room and a living room. They have a gym, a pool, the barbecue grill, and then they have the community center that they can use. In fact, we've had functions there for our family. The only issue we have is the parking because there is not enough parking.

The management is friendly and cooperative at Fountain Glen. It keep up with repairs on things. It’s a locked facility; every resident needs to keep to open the main doors, and it is gated for our cars. There is not an activity director, but from time to time they give us free a lunch, and then once a month we have birthday celebration and to meet new residents and celebrate the birthday for each given month. They have a potluck dinner sometime. The apartments are one bedroom or two bedroom. There is no studio apartment here, but the living room was very spacious,with a fully functioning kitchen with refrigerator, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, and a large bedroom.

Mom is in Fountain Glen. The staff and the environment are great. The people are friendly, and the rooms are excellent.
