There are about 5,000 members in Del Webb, so it’s big. We have a very nice custom home, about 4,000 sq. ft., but there’s no dining room. We own our home. We go out anywhere we want. We have a center where we have swimming pools, horseshoe, woodworking shops, a pool hall, an outdoor theater, and a convention center. One of the nice things is that we’re in a growing community. We have a lot of retail options here. A lot of restaurants, hardware stores, a movie theater and a bowling alley. There’s a lot of good shopping close by. We’re an hour from the beach and an hour from the mountains, so very easily, we could go to the beach in the morning and then go skiing in the afternoon. I would highly recommend it.

Del Webb is a 55+ community and I love it. We have our own homes but they have everything for us on campus from restaurants, clubs to gyms. Basically you are independent although we do have a large social network with our community where people volunteer to help those who are not mobile and do their grocery shopping or take them on doctor visits. We have at least 50 to 60 activities going on every single day. If you want to take water aerobics, yoga, dance lessons, softball, if you want to be in a travel club, they have everything, A to Z catalogue. They always say it's Country club living for the older folks.
