Caleo Bay is not just a memory care facility, we are a memory care community. We offer a warm and welcoming senior community for those in need of assisted living, transitional assisted living, or memory care.
Caleo Bay combines Person-Centered Care with an extensive wellness program that encompasses the key components of health and wellness to meet each individual’s physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs. Our memory care facility in La Quinta offers Transitional Assisted Living for persons starting to experience memory challenges and Memory Care for those experiencing Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
We also offer respite care and hospice care with a professional staff available day and night. Residents can choose from multiple floor plans, including private and semi-private suites, as well as companion suites.
Caleo Bay memory care facility residents receive Person-Centered Care with care options ranging from dressing assistance and personal hygiene, to medication and continence management and more in an encouraging and nurturing environment. My father is doing great at Caleo Bay. I haven't asked him about the food, but he hasn't complained. The staff has been great. He's in memory care, and they keep him busy all day. They have everything, including bingo. The price is a little high, though.

My husband is in Caleo Bay. It's one level and it's all memory care, so it's very nice. I looked at several places and the memory care sections were not as nice as the assisted living sections, but this being all memory care is all nice. It was cheerful, and it seemed light. It's one level, so they're high ceilings. It's like a U shape where the rooms are all around the perimeter with an interior courtyard that has a putting green, another green area, and rocking chairs sitting out. The staff seemed very friendly. They have more activities than the three other memory care places I looked at. They're very responsive.

I am very grateful to have found Caleo Bay for my wife. We were at another community first, but found the 24 hour nursing and certified dementia professionals made the difference for my wife. At Caleo Bay all their residents have dementia or Alzheimer's and I believe they are truly the best in the area at dealing with this disease. And the community feels like home!

My wife has been a resident at Caleo Bay for a little more than a year. The care she has received has been excellent. The caregivers are experts at showing love, patience and tolerance. If a problem occurs when no caregiver is readily available, another staff member will quickly move into action until a caregiver or nurse arrives on the scene.
The condition of the facility is another very important factor. The Maintenance Director keeps everything in first-class working order. The housekeeping crew keeps everything super clean.
Activities are available during the day and evening. There is a wide range of events, so the residents can select what appeals to them. I have watched the staff make the rounds to increase participation. This is very important because many of the residents will not get involved until they are encouraged to do so.

I am thrilled with the cleanliness, professionalism, and care provided by the very friendly staff. My mom loves it there and tells me the food is delicious. She loves being busy with the activities. Highly recommend

Caleo Bay Alzheimer's Special Care Center is very good. They are willing to try things that would help my husband and do what they can to keep him as normal as can be. They have three meals and two snacks throughout the day, and they have very good food. They are very caring, have a nurse on-site, and let me know what's going on all the time.

I very much liked Caleo Bay and was very impressed. Everyone was very welcoming and very nice. It was very safe and had a nice view of the garden.

Caleo Bay is top notch and safe with very nice, friendly, and caring staff. My wife’s room is adequate and clean. I’ve eaten there once, and the meal was adequate and warm. It’s a small but adequate place; I prefer small places because residents get more attention and care. We like it very much and don't plan on moving.

I visited Caleo Bay for my parents. It was practically a new place, so it was very good. I would give this one a B rating, but this facility is a little larger, and I think they're not going to have that one-on-one care. As for the staff, everybody looked busy. The one who assisted me was very helpful. She explained everything thoroughly. She explained the precautionary measures, e.g., what they had on their bed and some sensors, and I like that. The room was a very good size, it was very clean, and I like the fact that they have those sensors for emergency situation. Also they have different activities.
