We had an in-person tour of Oakmont of Cardinal Point. The facility's physical appearance is lovely, well kept, very inviting, and beautiful. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. She answered all the questions and directed us to people if we needed people. She gave a well-guided and informative tour. They sent us home with a little dessert from the chef, which was very good. We got a list of the activities they offered, which looked very entertaining to the people there. We looked at the studio, which was nice and looked well-kept. If my mother-in-law chooses to stay there, they would redo the floor, carpet, and paint. The bathrooms looked well appropriate for someone older who might have mobility issues.

I have lived here 5 years and I am very happy here. I have made good friends and I am still active in outside activities. I like my apartment and it definitely feels like home.

I kind of like Oakmont of Cardinal Point. The location was interesting, but a little too industrial, and I didn't like that the medical wasn't on site. The staff I met was very nice.

I really liked Oakmont of Cardinal Point. We had good service there. It was very nice, clean, new, and well maintained. The person during the tour was great. They had nice dining facilities, library/computer center, and a little bistro where you could get snacks.

Oakmont of Cardinal Point was really nice, like a fancy hotel. The place felt light, airy, and calm. They had a lobby, dining room, library, café/bar, game room, and exercise room. The amenities looked nice, but I didn't see people actually using them, except for two people in the game room.

We liked the location of Cardinal Point because it's in Alameda. The facility looks nice. The sales lady that we talked to was really nice, competent, and answered all of our questions. It was a pretty good experience, and we're on a waiting list right now. We went on a tour. They had a swimming pool, recreation area, dining hall, food service, on-site medical stuff, and trips. They had an activity plan. A shopping center and airport are close, as well as restaurants and dining in Alameda.

I was very impressed with Cardinal Point at Mariner Square. The buy-in was OK, but the monthly rent was a little steeper than what I feel I can handle at this time. It looked wonderful and very pleasant. The lady that showed me around was very pleasant and helpful.

My husband and I were very favorably impressed by this facility. There was an attractive entry, nice patio and gardens, good activities, and the rooms have lovely walk-in closets. The rooms overlook the waterfront, and would be great for watching the fireworks. The facility sits on piers, should be fine in case of an earthquake. There is a library nearby, and some shops, and more are being constructed. We were treated to a very nice lunch with well prepared vegetables.
