I recently visited my friend who is a resident at Fremont Village . ( Assistant living ) I was shocked to see her room. It smelled like Urine really bad.The room was a mess and dirty. Empty juice and jello container were on the floor., besides some of the residents belongings. Is it not housekeeping's job to keep the room clean? My friend is 99 years old and does not interact with many people. She needs a little help getting dressed. He bed has a lot of cloth on it and she sleeps every night in her Reckliner with her cloth on. ( that is what she tells me .

The people in Fremont Village were very attentive and good in notifying me about what's going on with my mother. They have also been very flexible in helping transport her to and from her doctors' appointments. We have no complaints at all as they've been very good. My mother seems to have gained her appetite back while there. They have an activities calendar for the residents with movie nights, puzzles, painting, and coloring, and so on. It's quite costly, but my mother needs quite a bit of care, so I'm getting the value for the cost of care.

They dont provide information on their do's & donts , guidelines they follow, I went their to visit my dad & they would not let him go right outside the door and sit on a bench to visit. they were treating him like he was a kid, kept telling him no, but wouldnt say why,. Its more like a kids camp; not family oriented, no home feeling.

Freemont Village was a small facility with only 44 units. Each unit had only one room, like the size of a small hotel room, and that was it. It was not nice at all and wouldn’t work. It was mostly assisted living. The person who showed us around was nice enough and very pleasant, but the overall feeling was they didn’t have an idea of what people really need. They have to take a bulldozer to it and start over. It’s depressing.

My dad stayed at Fremont Village for about a month. I chose it because of it's price. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. He was in a shared room and it was clean.
