I chose Sterling Court because of the location; it has a lot of mature trees and flowers, it's not huge, it doesn't feel like an institution, and it's more homey. I would like a ground floor with a patio when I move in. I liked the staff; they have a very professional, mature staff, they've been there a long time, and they've been in the field a long time. You can have little pets there.

Sterling Court was excellent, including the food and the atmosphere. We have friends there we go visit, and they're doing very well. The room that I saw was big enough for my wife and I. We're looking at 2-bedrooms and we're very satisfied with what we saw. The day we went, they had violin and piano playing with desserts in the afternoon. They go places nearby and they have activities all day to keep you occupied. I was very happy with it. The food was excellent. They have a private dining room and they served us very well.

Everything was excellent at Sterling -- the person giving the tour, their homes; it’s just that at this point that’s not my style of living. I have my own house and realized I would be giving up too much. Sterling was really nice. It seemed like they have everything, and I couldn’t find anything wrong with it. I liked the setting, the cleanliness, and the professional staff. They have day trips, exercising, and lots of interest groups like walking and crafts. It’s a very active community.

Sterling Court was the first choice of my aunt. She had some friends that had gone there many years ago. She liked it, and it had what she needed. She has been living there for a month now. It's very clean, compatible, elegant, and very organized, and the people are great. She's happy with the service, the meals, and the people.

Sterling Court was beautiful. It's just that we were looking for a two-bedroom at that time, and there wouldn't be one available for five months. Their one bedroom was really tiny.

My mom moved in Sterling Court the 30th of October. The apartments are lovely there. My mom has a one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, which is important to us. Mom likes to bake and she still likes to cook, so she is able to do that there. Also she doesn't have to pay for cable or whatever. The staff is amazing. They're just wonderful. They're really caring and very attentive and they know everybody by name. They always seem interested in how they're doing and what their needs are. They're also quick to respond to any kind of issues. They also have a visiting nurse and a visiting podiatrist once a month. Food is fantastic. I'm very impressed with it. They accommodate all food issues and make sure everyone eats. They really do take care of their residents. Walking into their dining room is like you're going to a restaurant. Overall, I'm just very pleased with this place. It's impeccably clean and well-manicured. They have lots of activities. Several times a week, they would go to the market or to the pharmacy. They have a bus for them. If you need to go to a doctor's appointment, they will take you. They also have field trips. Mom has actually gone to a chocolate factory in the city and that was fun. They have social hour a couple of times a week with entertainment.

I visited Sterling Court for my mom. They have a very nice independent living facility. They have very nice one-bedroom apartments. You can decorate your apartment and you have your own furniture. It also seems like there are a lot of activities for the residents there.

Sterling Court was very nice, and reasonably priced for a California facility. The people are friendly, very nice, and they even had some entertainment for the residents. I was invited to sit and watch it. It was very interesting. Their marketing people were very nice and very accommodating. The rooms were adequate, food was good, and the staff was very helpful.
