Ivy Park at Salinas was very nice. The one-bedroom was very large, but it was out of my mother-in-law's price range. Everybody was very friendly and seemed to be very helpful to their residents. They were finishing up lunch when we visited, and the meal looked nice. They seemed to have an active calendar of activities. The dining area was very nice and very clean. Everything was clean. They had a very nice outdoor patio and a nice little walking area. They had an exercise room, a beauty shop, and transportation. The facility seemed to be very well maintained and very welcoming. They had a welcome sign there for us that was personalized, and they give you a little box with the most delicious chocolate chip cookies when you leave. It was a very nice touch.

The tour I had at Ivy Park at Salinas was very professional. The rooms were large. Most of them consisted of a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. All the rooms had either balconies or patios. The grounds were very nice. The dining area was nice, too. I saw a reading room, a game room, and a beauty salon. It was a lot better facility than the other ones I looked at. The staff was very professional.

Ivy Park at Salinas was remarkable. It kind of reminded me of a resort, like when you go on vacation, and you stay at a resort, and you're just like, 'Oh, my gosh! What is going on here?' It was nice. The person I met, was really sweet and nice. When you walk in the door, there's a huge area that almost looks like a hotel lobby or something similar, and there were a lot of people sitting around. Some people were reading, doing puzzles, or spending some time out of their rooms. It looked like they appreciate it and liked it. I said hello to a couple of people, I started asking them how they liked it, and they said that they really felt safe and supported there and that they liked it. There was one man there that was like a military veteran, and he had lost his wife, so of course, he was on his own now, but he conveyed that he felt really good there, so that was nice. There was so much there. There was like where they prepared the food, they had gathering rooms, and they had games and nights where they would invite everyone to come in and play bingo. The grounds were nice, and they had grass areas and patios where people could go out. They have movie nights. They have so many different activities so that people have something to do and hopefully form a community, so I like that, too. They had individual rooms, and they also had some that would be accommodating for two people but with separate kinds of ways out. It's not like they would have beds together. They were set up as if someone had a little studio apartment and maybe they had a roommate or something. Even the lady that I was walking around with, as we were walking around, she knew the people that were living there, so that was nice. I don't know how many hundreds of people live there, but it's nice that she was social, and she was able to engage with people throughout the day, too, and say hello because you have to build a community.

Ivy Park at Salinas was absolutely beautiful. The facility was very clean. Everybody was super friendly. It smells good in there. We saw a one-bedroom apartment. It was clean, big, and perfect for one person. They have three meals a day. They have a garden, a gym, a fitness center, an indoor and outdoor lounging area, an activity studio, a library, a full-service salon, and a chapel. They have scheduled transportation, weekly housekeeping, and laundry. You can even have pets there. I saw the food, and the plates were huge. They had tons of food.

My friend will be moving into Ivy Park at Salinas' assisted living. Another friend moved in two weeks ago, and she's been there for 2 weeks and she said it's fabulous. The place looks excellent. It felt like I was on a cruise. I've been on many cruises and it felt like I was on one when I saw it. It's like a very nice and very high-end cruise. The people were extra friendly, everything was top-notch, and I was very, very impressed. They have all kinds of activities like movie nights, and they bring in any entertainment every Thursday. They take them on little trips over to Watsonville, to a bird sanctuary there, and Pinto Lake. They take them to Monterey, to some kind of an ice cream place over there. Some pastors come in if they want to have a chapel service. I think there was a trivia game the other day that they were doing so people could participate. They have a mile-long list of anything and everything that you could want. I haven't eaten the food, but I have looked at the menu and it looked like a cruise ship that looked and sounded very, very nice. It has a good variety too.

Sunrise Villa Salinas is a very nice, clean, and beautiful place. They got excellent staff, but it is just too expensive for us. My mom has a standard one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and a living room. They have church services, lots of exercises, a restaurant, house cleaning, laundry services, and pretty much everything. The food is good too. They also play like a volleyball but with a beach ball, they have game nights and all kinds of things. So, there's plenty to do.

It is gorgeous when you first enter the assisted living, but when I got to the memory care, I didn't like it at all. It was not up to par for me. The visit was nice and the lady who toured me was very pleasant and nice. They had activities and a dining area.

The apartments were fine. They have individual apartments in the same building, and they also have medical, if you need it. Their staff was nice and efficient.

They are very nice, but my father is having a lot of issues, and I do not know if they can help him. The facility is very nice and very clean.

It looked more like a hotel when you walked in and saw the front desk. We were able to see one unit that one of the residents let us see, but it was occupied. They were a good size. There was a little kitchen there, but I don't remember seeing appliances besides a refrigerator. It was more like what I can find at a hotel, but it was good. The staff showed us around. It was a nice facility. It looked like a dining area, where there were some people gathering and playing something. I liked that the grounds were nice.

The unit was small. The residents seemed pretty well assisted in their state or present health state. The staff seemed very polite and they seemed very confident. I presumed the meals are good. It was comfortable and for assisted living we thought it was very good.

The first impression is this is a Busy and Active environment. The residents will never be bored here. From the moment you walk in the staff is there to greet you with a smile. The staff is professional, well trained and educated. The staff is attentive and accommodating to the residents. The facility is BEAUTIFUL!!! They have gone above and beyond to make this a living environment 2nd to Heaven. The decor is amazing and there is several fire places threw out the common areas. There are several dining halls all bistro style. The menu is well planned and has healthy choices for all diet plans. The staff goes above and beyond to make life here grand. The residents here are living a 5 star resort lives and they are well deserved. There is an active daily calendar of event and activities and the residents seem to be in motion all the time. There is a shuttle for trips if needed. I would place my loved on here, it is one of the best I have seen. You will not go wrong choosing this facility!!!
