My wife has moved into Cedar Creek Retirement. I was initially not aware that they had Assisted Living, and since they are in my hometown, I did not have to go out of town for assisted living because it was available here.
The facility is very good. Everything is excellent. What I liked best is the location, that's number one. Number two, their reputation in the community is good. Number three, I know relatives that have been there before, so those are the three reasons. The staff is extremely friendly and extremely helpful.
They may be a little bit short of help in certain areas only. For instance, when you call their number, they never answer the phone. They will always get back to you, you have to leave a message. That is not good, they should answer the phone immediately, not call back. Now, other facilities in Fresno answered the phone immediately, but there is no callback.
The food is excellent. I have eaten there every day. They have excellent dining, excellent service, and excellent employees in the kitchen. The amenities looked good.

I went to Cedar Creek Senior Living. It felt more institutionalized it looked like, and it was more expensive. The staff members were OK. They were more business-like, but welcoming, but they were OK.

My father lived in Cedar Creek Senior Living for several years. He was in independent living for a year there, and then the last six months, he was in assisted. It was wonderful. He loved it there, and that included the food and the people. It was really well run, and when he finally had to go into assisted and hospice, they just were so supportive. It was right in the middle of the Coronavirus thing, so they let me just keep his apartment the way it was until I felt safe enough to go down there and clean it out. It was great. I have nothing but good things to say about them overall. He was super happy there. They were so accommodating and letting me know all the time how he was doing. My father is kind of a foodie, and he really liked the food. I ate lunch there a couple of times as well. The facility was really nice.

Cedar Creek was beautiful. I would actually like to live there. The layout was fantastic. The person who assisted me was awesome. They have a library, painting classes, a beauty salon, and trips, and they have their own shuttle system, so they can take you to doctors' appointments. I would've loved it there, but it just costs too much extra for them to give my mom her medications. We live in Madera, so it would've been closer. I looked over the menu, and it was really good.

I was impressed with Cedar Creek. It looked very nice for my wife, but unfortunately, before we could get involved, she passed away. I may still end up there. They seem to have a good reputation here in town for nice, clean facilities, nice food, and everything. I don’t have anything bad to say about them.

I visited Cedar Creek Senior Living with my stepdad. They fixed lunch for him, and he liked the food. I liked the fact that you can order whatever you want. The biggest thing we're happy about was when we were moving my parents in, the manager of the place helped us move all our stuff from the trailer into the building. We found out after a few days of moving them in that they get Mom up in the morning, get her cleaned up, get her dressed, and they get her up using her walker to go to the bathroom; she didn't do all of that before. She is doing so much better there, and they are actually taking care of her. She goes down to eat 3 times a day, she no longer eats in her bed. They are treating her so much better, and it is so incredible.

We put my dad in Cedar Creek. We like all the activities that they have. He has dementia. They have a dementia ward and a regular ward. They have a transition section. In his level of care, it gives him the freedom of the entire facility to do all the activities like outings and go on trips, but he is monitored closely at night. His room is like a regular apartment. It has a kitchen with no stove, but it has a refrigerator. It has a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. I had some problem with the billing -- just minor things -- but the facility itself and the people who works there -- the nurses and those type of people -- are wonderful.

I was given a great tour of the facility and after touring five (5) others I felt Cedar Creek was the best fit for my 90 year old mother. The staff have been so caring to my mom from her very first day making the transition an easy and good experience for her. The activities are wonderful and I can't relate the feeling of happiness I feel after a visit realizing the staff have made it a point to know my mom's name by sight. When my mom moved in and I had a questions never once was I made to feel I was bothering and my question was quickly answered. I am so happy with Cedar Creek Senior Living Facility.

I really liked Cedar Creek. It was very good. The rooms were very nice. They had some separate apartments which my mother liked, but she does not feel like she needs any help right now. The grounds were very well kept up, and the people were very nice and very friendly. They had a lot of activities like bingo and parties. They also had a bus that takes residents to their appointments.

I visited Cedar Creek. The rooms were spacious. The staff was helpful. They checked and monitored the people a lot. The food was good. They had activities like bingo, entertainment would come, and they took them places.
