We visited Heritage Rehabilitation Center. It was nice, but it was already full. The people were nice and the place was clean. One thing that we did not smell is urine, which is important. The staff was very friendly.

My mom went here to rehab after a partial hip replacement. The physical therapy was okay, but every other aspect of this place was terrible. No continuity of care, no seeing my mom as a whole person, she was a hip that needed to be rehabilitated. Her other medical issues were managed very poorly and she came out in much worse condition medically, than when she entered. The CNAs do their best, the nurses are hit and miss and the doctor was dismissive and uninvolved. My mom was like a piece of meat who was checked in, exercised, then discharged. The "goal" they set for her was to walk 30 feet. They decided she had met this goal when she shuffled along for 30 feet, held up by her physical therapist and a wheelchair positioned directly behind in case she fell. Those in power do not respond well to family members who advocate for the patient. My mom did not come out the same way she went in and the changes were not positive ones. I was with her open to close every day and what I saw was subpar care every single day. This place is terrible.

Heritage Rehabilitation Center was very neat and clean and well taken care of, and the people seemed happy. The staff seemed to be particularly caring and concerned with the residents, and they provided quite a lot of special attention. The rooms were average sized, and they had a pretty large outside patio area. The activity calendar seemed full, and they seemed to have things going on quite a bit of the time.

My mother-in-law was at a rehab facility called Heritage Rehabilitation Center. The hospital referred her there. She was there for two weeks. The staff seemed to be nice and friendly. They were all very nice and helpful if she needed help. Their rooms were fine, but there were two beds to a room, and we had to get mother-in-law some headphones so she can hear her TV and not overhear somebody else's TV. Food was okay. They had a dining room, but she did not go to the dining room. She just stayed in her room and they brought her her food. In terms of safety, the rooms were locked after certain times, so you have to wait for someone to leave to get in and then you're supposed to sign in at the desk there. So I wouldn't think it was total security. Maybe there should be someone else at the front desk.

The providers at the facility where my father is staying are very friendly, courteous and respectful. Although he is paralyzed and cannot speak, they always address him by name and speak to him in a cheerful manner. They are very friendly and always try to make sure he is comfortable.

My mother age 86 fell and broke her leg. She went to Little Company of Mary, where a rod was put in her leg. Little company of Mary gave me a list of 10 Nursing Rehab Centers for my mother to transaction to. I checked out all 10 locations and chose Heritage. I am so glad I chose Heritage. The employees make this place a good nursing home. I would visit my mother about 4 times a week. I estimate a 1/3 of the time I entered mom's room. Some employee was in the room helping her. Mom already had a mild case of dementia and wasn't always the easiest person to deal with. All nurses and caregivers helped her with compassion. One nurse assistant took the time to braid my moms hair so she would look nice. Also if i had a request for my mom. It was taken care of within 3 minutes. The rehab people were great too. The food is good. There were plenty of activities to keep her occupied. There's even a lady whose sole job is to make sure everyone is happy and encourages them to go to activities. Even Elvis showed up to sing to the elderly.

My aunt was placed at this facility after being in ICU with pnumonia. She was not able to walk after her 3rd episode of pnumonia. She had a great therapist by the name of jesusito moreno and she is now able to walk and do more for herself. All of the nurses and staff were great. The facility was always clean and friendly. I would recommend this facility to my friends and family.
