My mom will be moving into Sunrise of La Palma. It's beautiful. Tenure there was very high for their staff, so just very friendly. It seems like there's a lot of programs as well. My mom will have a shared room. It seemed like a very large room. It could accommodate a queen-sized bed and a dresser. Her particular room views a garden area, so I thought that was nice. It was also very close to social activities, so she wouldn't have to walk far down the hallway to get there. I didn't meet anyone that wasn't friendly. They have little stations like if someone wanted to fold clothes or if they wanted to put on jewelry, things like that. They have little areas that might accommodate a person who is more inclined to do that. They have a nice dining area. One of the times that I toured there, they had five or six of the residents working on like a donation volunteer craft for the community. I thought that was nice. They would try to get residents to do things that they might otherwise not do in another facility. Maintenance was very nice. They're on top of everything.

Sunrise of La Palma is nice. It's a little expensive. There's a kitchenette and a refrigerator in the room. It's like a studio type with a private bathroom. They have an outdoor garden, which is nice. The place is nice. I like the lady who gave me the tour. There is a second floor. I didn't see any activity room. The facility is clean and well maintained. The landscaping outside is well maintained, too. It's nice.

I like Sunrise of La Palma, but it was very expensive for what it was. I liked the location being next to a hospital, but it wasn't worth that extra money. The staff was very nice. The rooms and the dining area were very nice, but small for the size of the facility. The neighborhood around was very nice and very clean.

We have been involved with family members at 3 Sunrise, and La Palma has been the best in care and service.
