I went to Sunrise Palos Verdes. I like the facility. It is clean and nice. It looks like a fancy place for somebody who has grown up in Rancho Palos Verdes. That's something that they may be accustomed to that type of luxury. There are three floors. Each floor is a different level of stage. It was a little smaller. It's kind of tucked into this small location off the road. They told me that it was small because of the way that they tried to design it and said that hallways that are shorter distances would help people with dementia. If the hallways are longer, they have issues going to that distance. However, it seems a little cramped. The staff looked good. People looked good around there. I didn't see any problems with any of the residents. It seems like a happy place. The person who toured me was pretty informative and very friendly. They offer different levels of care based on the needs of the individual and they offer programs that they have involved with them. So instead of having to take them to daycare during their stay or anything like that, they have a lot of activities for them to be doing in a more scheduled routine.

Sunrise Palos Verdes was clean. The rooms were spacious and it was nice. I visited the memory care unit. We passed by the snack bar, and we were offered a snack, some water, or fruit, but we declined. They have patios.
