Sunrise of Playa Vista was nice. I only did a tour of the memory care facility and the lady I met there made me feel real comfortable. They had a nice little dining area and sometimes they had a lot of people that would come in to play music for the residents. They also celebrate little holidays. The rooms were nice. There was just a studio with a small little kitchenette area and a bathroom. They had an exercise room and walking trail outside, too.

I visited Sunrise of Playa Vista. We talked about both assisted living and memory care, but we spent more time on the memory care. Our experience was good. We got a lot from the standpoint of memory care. We had one of the experts from the place come down and talk to us about that. We were able to tour the place, and we were satisfied. It's a nice place, and it looked well kept. We were shown availability of a one-bedroom place, and there's a shared place in the memory care part. The staff was very professional and very courteous. They seem to be very friendly with the residents there. They had everything that you would want for the care of your relative. They have an exercise room. They have meeting rooms that you could bring people in. They have a dining area that you could bring a large group in (10 to 12 people), which is closed off from the rest of the unit. It was quite impressive. The staff was very helpful.
