Nice place. The sales director Amy had every bit of information I needed right away. You could tell she knew her job and how to treat people. Would Recommend this place!

Park Visalia Assisted Living & Memory Care was a beautiful place. The staff who walked me through the place was great. She was fantastic and I enjoyed talking to her. The apartments and the dining room were beautiful too. It's in a convenient location, and so it's a nice place.

My dad moved into Park Visalia Assisted Living & Memory Care. I think it's a wonderful place. He doesn't like it because he's had a lot of changes, but he'll get used to it, I'm pretty sure. The people have been very kind and easy to talk to, communications were great, and I think it's wonderful. From what I've heard from the nurses and the people in the community, it has a very good community feel -- it feels more like a family. I think that because I've listened to nurses who have been visiting him for some care, and people at the clinic whom I've gone to see for some testing, and they told me, "Oh, Park Visalia is one of the best." I had no hesitation, then, of choosing that place. I've only been in his room, because with COVID, they're very, very careful; they don't let anybody in right now. I was able to go in and set up his apartment. The room he had when he first moved in was a bigger room, and then they moved him to a smaller room, and from the pictures I've seen they all look the same -- very pretty. It's very clean, and he said he likes the food. I've only met a few people there, and they were all very nice. The layout is nice because every room has an outdoor view, so that's kind of nice that you can see outside. It's expensive -- $5800 is not cheap -- but he's getting good, quality care, so that's all that matters.

Very helpful, cheerful, and professional staff. Facility is clean and bright. My only complaint is the meals. While lunch is the main meal and well rounded, dinner lacks a vegetable or salad.

I moved in to Park Visalia. My apartment is very nice and comfortable. The facility and the programs are very good. They have exercise programs and church services. They have a nice dining room. They have different things all week long. We have Octoberfest and family night.

Park Visalia was very clean. The people were very caring and care for the people well. The rooms were very nice. They had a courtyard that was very nice if the people wanted to go outside. They had a really large dining facility as well as a movie theater and big-screen TV people could watch. They also had an area where people could come in and sing or play the guitar. It was nice.

I visited Park Visalia for my parents. The place was almost too large for people who are in limited mobility to get around very well because it is all one-story, so it is really spread out. That wouldn't have worked with my folks. The thing that was really knocked them out of the running, so the speak, was the fact that they are going to be doing additional remodeling, and one of my parents would not have been happy at all staying in a place where there was any construction going on. Nevertheless, the person who showed me around was really nice, the place was clean, and they had some really nice outdoor area. But again, it was too spread out and too much walking for my folks.

We've been to Park Visalia., and it was OK. The man we talked to was very nice. They were in the process of redoing the whole facility, and I had been in it before and liked it much better than what I saw them doing, but they were modernizing. I didn't like it because number one, there was no kitchen to speak of, and what they call their kitchen area didn’t look professional; it looked like it was just thrown together. They have their lunch at noon, and it wasn't anything to write home about.

I visited Park Visalia, but I didn't really care for it just because the rooms were quite small, and they were a little dated, but they were doing some renovations. The person that I had an appointment with was not available, and that kind of upset me. Somebody just took me around, took me to a room, to their courtyard in the back, and then showed me where they had meals. It's just a one-storey facility.

The gentleman that took us through Park Visalia couldn't have been nicer and was a great help. They also had assisted living and dementia care. We didn't enjoy the lunch that much. What stood out was that the grounds were nice. It's all one story, and there's a patio off of each room. You could see trees, benches, and lawns, and the outside would be more conducive to enjoying. Their apartments were larger, but I didn't like their kitchens at all.

Park Visalia checked my mother several times a day to make sure she was OK. They are excellent, and the main thing was the travel service. I worked in another place that was more expensive, and it was gated which is probably what she need, but pricewise and having shuttle services and the city bus nearby that she can walk to is good. She is comfortable; she must get used to the being happy part, because she’s got to have her independence that she had before. Her apartment has a sliding door, and she can go out on a little patio. There was a big courtyard, and she likes that. She walks around the facility and knows where she wants to go. She knows what bus to pick to get her hair done and go to the doctor.

The outside of this facility is well maintained with ample room for parking. When I entered the building some of the residents were gathered in the lobby enjoying a Xmas piano concert, but I had to search for staff; it turned out that their receptionist was out ill for the day. I had to ask a couple of residents where the nurse's station was at. This is an assisted living facility with an on site beauty salon, but they don't provide any skilled nursing. The rooms were clean and private; ranging from studio to 2 bedrooms. The menu that was posted was varied, but lunch had already been served so I wasn't able to actually see any. The dining room had tables set up with table cloths and linen napkins. The facility has a central courtyard for residents to enjoy with benches and tables placed about. I was given a tour by the medical tech and she was very nice. From what she told me it appears that they try to cater to families even allowing you to stay a week to try things out. All in all I would recommend this facility, I didn't get any pricing information, but I would guess this pricing is mid-range.
