In Almond Heights Senior Living, the facilities were nice, they were well laid out, the staff appeared to be knowledgeable, and the programs that they had available were good as well. I saw people playing games, and engaging in social activity, and that kind of thing. The room was small, but nice, it was OK, nothing bad about it. It also had no furniture, and I asked the guy, I told him I was not interested in a place that didn't have a furnished room, and he said they could come up with some furniture for the place. So that was a positive. It looked good, the place was well-maintained, it was clean, no problems.

We moved our mother into the memory care of Almond Heights Senior Living. So far it's been fine, and the staff has also been fine. Her accommodations are the norm among this kind of community. It's a smaller room since it's in their memory care. We have tried dining on their assisted living side, but we don't like the food; although the dining area is very nice. The food was just not very appealing to us. It's the standard industrial type of food, but the facilities are nice. They have an exercise room with a trainer and I think they have some activities in their assisted living.
