Mom was at A New Haven Care Home - Adams for less than a week, but it did not work well. It was one of those houses that they turned into assisted living, so it's a group home. There were usually two main people doing all of the care on shifts around the clock. It had six rooms. The main care lady was awesome. She tried to help my mom in every aspect including sitting in mom's room all night because mom could not sleep. I wasn't totally happy with the cleanliness and sanitation, and the shower was very rusty. They did lots of activities and decorated for all of the holidays. They had a very nice backyard that was very well landscaped. Out of all the people doing the caring on their shifts, I would say I liked only two of them. I didn't care for the rest of them.
