We went to Blissful Gardens. The owner wasn't there to go over pricing, but we did like the facility, so if the pricing works out, I think the place will work out. I liked that it was very clean. It was personalized. You don't have a lot of residents there for the number of residents, twelve people to two caretakers. So you get a lot of personal attention. Their menu looked good. The rooms are a little on the small side. The staff was friendly, personable, but again, they didn't have all the pricing information. They had a beautiful courtyard, which is what we were interested in. They had a mini-golf area. That was nice.

Blissful Gardens have everything necessary to care for my mother, and they're very, very friendly and very attentive. They check on their residents at least once an hour or sometimes every 30 minutes. They have a small group of residents, about 12 of them (including my mother). I think they opened in February, so they're new and are planning to expand. Everything is going very, very well. They are in good contact and communication with us. We've seen her every day, so we're very satisfied.
The staff is fantastic and couldn't have been any better. Every one of them is very helpful and came to introduce themselves to me and my mother. They assisted us in moving her things, and even one of the staff came in on their day off. They did everything they could. They helped us get everything arranged and get all the paperwork done.
She has a private studio, and she's very happy with it. It's like her own bedroom, and then the facility is more like her home. They're very down to earth people and not overly extravagant, which my mother enjoys. They do different activities on different days too, like miniature golf, cards, puzzles, and group activities. Sometimes they turn on music and dance with the residents, and other things to keep them occupied and social.
