We visited this home because an older relative was once a resident before she passed more than a decade ago. This is a typical house in San Francisco, a bit smaller when it comes to room size and predominately Asian. A tiny big shabby but clean and quite acceptable. The caretakers and staff have been at Merced for a good amount of time and are experienced in the care of elders. However, we were not comfortable with the neighborhood. The residents are safe enough but we worried about family visiting who would have to take the bus and walk a few blocks to the home. The price was very reasonable, however.
