We're going to choose Carlton Senior Living Concord for my dad because of the price value for the services offered and the location. Their rooms were bright with plenty of natural light, and they were the average size. The staff is helpful, informative, and friendly. They provide meals. They also provide bus services to banks, grocery stores, and doctors. They also have activities and tours to wineries and the surrounding area. It is an older building, and they are in the process of fixing things up. They are well on their way. For what they do, they are providing great service and a nice atmosphere. Everybody that I met was friendly.

I moved into Carlton Senior Living Concord. Everybody is friendly and helpful. They have activities. The staff members are excellent. They have a dining area, and they serve breakfast and dinner. The food is pretty good. The facility is very clean. They have housekeeping once every two weeks. They come in and clean your bathroom and kitchen. They have bingo 5 or 6 days a week, art groups, and outings all the time.

I love it here at Carlton Senior Living in Concord. I like the fact that it's strictly just an independent living community. The staff here are wonderful, I didn't expect so much kindness and thoughtfulness. They're just a bunch of caring people. I shopped around and compared the apartment unit, but the floor plan here really works for me. It's much better than the other communities that I've seen. I live in a studio, but it's ample for a studio, more than any of the other places I've seen. The affordability here too is the most important for me. The food is really good and I love the activities, they're very comparable to even the higher communities. There are exercise classes, parties that they hold, trips, and there's a calendar. It's excellent, the transportation and trips they lay out and plan out for us here. One of the reasons why I chose this is because I have access to the downtown area, it's just walking distance to amenities.

My mom was at Carlton Senior Living Concord. You get what you pay for when you stay there. It's much less expensive, but the people were much less attentive to their residents. The facility is decent, but the layout was a little large, so it makes it a little harder for people to get around. They also have a salon and a movie theater, but they're not very appealing.

Carlton Senior Living was nice. It would definitely be the place I would consider. It's in an area in Concord I'm very familiar with, and I used to live in that area. They only have one meal a day, they have continental breakfast. They only come in twice a month for cleaning the room, and I wasn't too impressed with that. The rooms themselves were nice, and pretty big. I saw a studio, a one-bedroom, and a two-bedroom. The price was very comparative. I liked the price, but there were collateral things that were added on to it that you gotta watch out for, like parking. If a person's interested, I would definitely suggest they do a tour, and check it out themselves. The staff was good, very helpful, and they tried to find a way to lower my price. They just called me up today, and gave me a special offer, which was very enticing.

Carlton Senior Living Concord is lovely. The people are very nice and caring, and the executive director is very good. It's well run. We don't have anything bad to say about them. My mother has only been there short term, but they seem to know what they're doing and they're on top of everything. The staff is very nice, very friendly, helpful, and on top of their game. They have an array of activities, a laundry room, game room, somebody comes from the outside and does salon services, and they take them to different stores every week and to doctors' appointments. She doesn't like the food choices because she's Asian. Otherwise, everything is excellent. It's close to shops, and the rooms are bigger than the rooms we saw at other places, and they have full kitchens.

Carlton Senior Living Concord was one of our favorites. I would move there. The location is in a prime spot in Concord, but the facility makes adjustments for the location by having a wonderful internal courtyard, and they're very proactive as far as safety goes. The size of the place, the rooms, and the full kitchen were amazing. I was totally impressed. The woman we met was wonderful and she was very good. They have a lot of grandchildren and visitors visiting the residents there. They were having a little get-together before Thanksgiving and they all seemed to be having a really good time playing bingo. A couple of the ladies were sitting and waiting for the bar to open. The dining room and the menu that they showed us were amazing. Other than the location, it was absolutely perfect. The rooms were gorgeous. They have little patios, balconies, and two beautiful gardens.

My mom is in independent living at Carlton Senior Living Concord. It's clean, inviting, and has good location and friendly staff. They have a nice group of ladies and men playing bingo and events. On Thursday afternoons or evening, they have a social hour or wine tasting, and my mom likes it. The food is restaurant-style and not my mom's favorite, but she's a gourmet chef, so she's going to probably judge a lot harder than most people.

I didn’t meet any of the residents at Carlton, but I found that the management people were quite friendly, they seemed to care about the patients, and that they are happy in what they are doing. It was clean and seemed to be close to the downtown area of Concord. For instance, if I want to go shopping, it's just a few blocks away with stores and restaurants, and there is a movie theater nearby.

Carlton Senior Living Concord's food was more comfort food, not gourmet, but it's good. They showed me a 1-bedroom, and it was a nice size and has a little storage area and nice kitchen space. The doors seemed to be wide enough, and some of the bathrooms had handicap features. They have a dishwasher, a refrigerator, and heating and cooling. They have a good activity package for those who are into that. The people were very nice ,and the director was very nice.

The staff here at Carlton Senior Living Concord is superlative. I've never seen such a wonderful staff. They are all so friendly, and they can remember everybody's name. The only complaint I have is that the food is not so good. There's plenty of activities. We have exercises, music, outings, and shuttle that takes us to the doctors or wherever. It's a very nice community, and everybody looks so happy.

My dad has lived at Carlton Senior Living Concord for 3 years. Overall, I think he’s been very happy. They have a staff that’s consistent and helpful. They have barbeques. I know that my dad isn’t as thrilled with the food because it’s not like an assisted living where there are more choices. It’s just a meal in the evening and a continental breakfast in the morning. From what my dad has said, sometimes the food isn’t the best, but he’s happy.
He loves his apartment. He had brand new cabinets and brand new counters when he moved in. He has a beautiful balcony that overlooks a beautiful large courtyard and a fountain downstairs. They have a library. There are lots of activities. He just got a rent increase, which he wasn’t real happy about.

Carlton Senior Living is OK. The rooms were fine, the staff was very nice, and the grounds are beautiful. The food was mediocre. The activities seemed nice as well as the people.

Carlton Senior Living Concord was a little bit expensive for my mother. She really liked the itinerary and loved the facility. The area that it's in was very convenient. Everything about it was to her liking. They had travel plans, bingo, and people out there sitting and putting together puzzles and playing card games. She loves Western movies, and there are several acitivities happening involving those movies. The staff was able to educate us and tell us about the area, the dwelling, and the people. It was very informative.

We went to Carlton Senior Living, and it was just too expensive for us. It was very nice and clean and had good rooms and dining room.

My first impression of Carlton Senior Living was that it was light. There were some younger people there, which was what I wanted. The apartment itself was very nice and had a very nice terrace. The staff was nice to me.

Chateau on Broadway was roomy and seemed comfortable. The residents as well as the people that ran the place were very friendly. They had a chapel. It seemed like a good fit for my wife. They had regular activities every day, some trips outside, and ordinary exercise. They tried made it like group living, which gave off the feeling of more of a relationship like a family than a bunch of people living in a hotel.

My loved one had stayed in Chateau in Broadway. She had a two-bedroom unit. It was very nice to have her in there. Her room was very nice. I do not think the food was all that great, but all in all, I thought it was a good facility also. I liked the staff there. I thought they were helpful. I thought the only thing I do not like there was the food, but my mom was OK with it.

My sister liked the Chateau on Broadway, and I liked this one a lot. It was very nice. I think she would have been happy there, and she put a deposit down, but they had a waiting list, and she was worried about the heat. Everybody we met seemed very friendly, and the grounds were very nice. They had nice big apartments -- two-rooms and a few studios.

I am getting ready to move into the Chateau on Broadway. It looks to me like it will be great. It is very nice and upscale, and all of the residents that we saw appeared to be quite happy.

I have a friend living in this facility. I have seen the food that is being served there and am horrified at the food being served to these people. Lots of greasy foods, lack of imagination in the menu, not a good choice of food for those overweight, high cholesterol. One of the key points is the attraction of a "Dining Room" . I take my friend at least twice a week to find a tasty, and healthy meal. The owner/board needs to seriously review this situation. The food is NOT HEALTHY for seniors put in this situation.

My mom lives in independent living Chateau. There, she has more flexibility as far as meals. She can go down for breakfast almost any time. If she gets hungry, she can go to the dining room and order a sandwich. All day long, she can go and get something to eat if she wants to. They also have lots of activities there all day long. They have people coming in all the time, bingo, TV shows, exercises, and trips.

I had picked a place where I would go to and it was Chateau on Broadway. I had a tour there and I had some positive feeling from people who lived there. They were happy and I thought that counts a lot. Their friendliness impressed me the most. There were nice people. I would be going in their one-bedroom apartment. They went on tours. They seemed to have a lot of activity for the people who lived there every day like movies, bingo, craft and exercises. They had a services that would take them to doctor's visit.

Chateau on Broadway was absolutely beautiful and if my grandmother did not pass away, I would put her there. The staff were receptive and they answered all my questions. They toured me around the facility and had a look inside one of the apartments. They showed me the dining area where the residents ate and it was very clean. The place was like a hotel and you knew your loved one would be safe and well taken cared of. The residents seemed happy and pleased. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I will be moving to Chateau On Broadway in August because among other places that I have seen, it is the one that I feel that it is a homey place for me. It is not too big, and to me it looks like a home. There is a courtyard and it looks nice. There are nurses there in case of an emergency. They have daily activities for the residents. They have a shuttle bus available just in case you need to go to the doctor or shopping.
