Our philosophy at United Family Elderly Care Homes is to maintain a safe, comfortable and peaceful environment recreating a home like atmosphere. My mother is in a private home called The New Light RCFE. It's fantastic. It's just like a big home. Everybody has their own rooms. There's a big living area, and there's a big backyard. It's real nice. They have a good-sized dining area and everybody eats together. It's like a big family. The staff is fantastic. She is diabetic and they keep track of her blood pressure and her blood sugars. She takes ton of medicines, and they're on top of the medications all the time. She really likes the food. She likes to go outside a lot. They have a good-sized yard. They're kind of expensive, but she's fine where she is.
