I am jbmurray, a long term resident of assisted living at Vine Ridge Senior Living, who recently wrote a negative review of Vine Ridge, bec. my "call light", which is a pendent worn on a string around the neck, was on and blinking for a while and no one answered. It turns out that the pendent was defective, so its signal was not noticed by anyone, so no one responded. I now have a working one, and appreciate that the Director here, came personally, to give me a new pendant.

We looked at Vine Ridge Assisted Living. We were met at the entrance by a person who toured us and talked to us about how they were new. She then walked us through the whole facility.
I don't think we went to the laundry room, but she told us where it was. We looked at a 1-bedroom and a studio then she gave us the prices for both of those. We looked at their living area, their dining room, their snack area, arts and crafts room, music room, and TV room. The place is very neat and tidy, and very clean. The 1-bedroom apartment was staged, so it had furniture and all in it. The studio one was empty but I'm sure they were both adequate for living there. They're pretty new so they still have lots of vacant spaces. In the end, she gave us a rundown on the prices and gave us some material to take home on prices and amenities. We talked to her a little bit about extra needs for incontinence and things like that, and she was very helpful. The literature she gave us also covered all of that. She also gave us some water. It was hot and we were thirsty.
We went to see the assisted living since we don't need memory care for my son.

This new assisted living place in Cloverdale is a world apart from other such facilities I have visited. For several years, my mother lived at a senior living place for several years that was cold and impersonal. So I carefully researched options for my husband, including confidential discussions with a number of current Vine Ridge residents. Everyone I spoke with had nothing but good things to say about this place. One resident whose husband had recently passed away there said, “Vine Ridge is a blessing for Cloverdale,” then went on to describe the wonderful end of life care her husband received there. To date, I have found management and staff to be kind and flexible, plus pricing and terms to be surprisingly reasonable compared to other options. In my opinion, Vine Ridge is a standout in the assisted living category!

Vine Ridge is where my 101-year old mother has lived for the past year and we are all happy with her care. The facility is brand new and beautiful and the staff is very kind and helpful at all hours. She has made friends including residents and staff that are like a second family to her and us when we visit. It is far above all of the other senior residences we visited in Sonoma County last year! Go check it out!!

Our mother has thrived since coming to Vine Ridge. She finds the staff exemplary, very caring and loving. The chef and dietitian are very attentive to her changing needs, and spoil her. She loves the new facility and thinks it beautiful.
Mom has been in five Assisted Living homes and Vine Ridge by far is the very best she has been in, and she is very very happy and content .

I went to tour Vine Ridge in Cloverdale. I was looking for assisted living, and it was very nice. It's fairly new and well equipped. The rooms were very cute, and the woman who gave me the tour was lovely. Her name was Evelyn. She was informative and gave me a lot of good information. I appreciate that.
They had lots of options for dining. They had a place where you could just go and get food and drinks any time of the day. If you live there, you could go in and just get some food. They had a really cool area where if you had help, you could go in and make cakes, cookies, or whatever you like. You could schedule a time to have a person help you if you wanted to make cookies and do things like that. They also had a nice theater room that I thought was kind of neat.
The place was very nice, it seemed very clean, and it's new so everything was fresh. It was kind of like a really nice, high-end hotel. I saw their different activity rooms too. I didn't get to see many residents there, so I guess it's not really full right now.
