About This Community
This care home is owned and operated by two nurses who have years of experience in taking care of elderly clients. Included 3 meals per day with snacks, housekeeping, laundry, preparing medication self to administer.
We offer dementia care, our facility has alarms on all doors and windows. We are very close to Sharp hospital, Parks and shopping center.

The rooms at Gentle Hearts Chula Vista are nice. It's a very clean facility and the yard is beautiful. The only room that was available when mom moved in was very small and it wouldn't adequately hold her recliner. Just yesterday she moved into a larger room and we'll see how it goes and how she adjusts to the change.
She's just been there a week now and I'm not sure where we're going with this, but the staff is very, very nice. It's owned by a mother and her daughter and they seem to know what they're doing. Three meals are included. The rooms come with closet space, a dresser, and a television. Then we had to provide a bed. Mom wanted her own landline, so that was an additional cost. They have a wall of games and puzzles and that type of thing, but as far as planned activities, I haven't encountered that yet.

Thank you for taking such amazing care of my grandma Sally in her last months. Your kindness, compassion and overall genuine hearts will always and forever be appreciated. Couldn’t ask for a better facility to bring a loved one.
